Hi all

I have a 2001 TJ I am looking for a factory hook that is bolted to
the frame under the rear bumper on the drivers side. I need one for
the right side. If they just made them for the drivers side that
one will do, it will just be a little off center.

If you wonder why, I live on a dirt road and my neighbor has a drag
he uses to drag the road after a rain. He is moving and it looks
like I will inherit the drag. I do not want to install a hitch on
the Jeep, thus the hook.

If anyone has one lying around that they want rid of please let me
know.

Thanks

Rich, on a dirt road in Cave Creek.

Rich, I gave mine off of the Rubi to a Buddy for his TRD. He hasn't mounted it, so I'll see about getting it back. I took it off unused when I installed the BulletProof bumper. Have you seen Mookie's latest adventure? Check out the rolled jeep thread. PM or email or call and I'll try and get it back for you. No charge, if you come over to get it. Later, Huck

Hey Huck

Thanks for the reply to my request for a factory hook. I sent you an e-mail and two PMs from this board. Never did find out if you got them. Just wanted to let you know that "Griswold" had one and I stopped at his place and picked it up but thanks for your effort.

Thanks also to "Griswold" who let me have his hook for free and a look at his great Rubicon.

Yo Rich, I recieved your email and replied. I even picked up the hook for you. Sorry you didn't receive the email, but it looks like you were taken care of. I just got back in from another quick run at Broken Arrow. I did the crack again, but now the rock that was off to the side was placed in the center to make things difficult. I wondered who could have done this? I wonder if it was a jeeper in a tour jeep? Anyway, I'm talking with Troy about my next mod to the Rubi. I scored a winch, which was used pull Mookie out and now I'm looking at strengthening my axles. I'm going with the Warn full floater conversion and some new larger tires. That way when I'm ready for some serious lift, my Jeep will be too. Glad you got your hook. Huck
