Just installed Redhat 7.3 dual boot with XP Home on a Dell laptop. Installed perfect. EXCEPT, drivers.....I am at a loss on how to install the video card, NIC, and USB...does Linux support USB?

Thanks....

Support depends mostly on what kernel you're running. All 2.4.x kernels support USB. 2.2.18 and up according to the USB How-to.

Your best bet is to visit http://www.tldp.org and read the How-to's for Ethernet, Video and USB. On the main page use the Search box for the How-to desired.

Good luck.

Thanks for all of the support.

I recieved more e-mails from the Yahoogroups side....

What a way to jump into Linux, customer comes in with a Dell Inspiron 1100 laptop, says he wants it to dual boot with XP Home and Redhat 7.3.

Very interesting. And done!
