I have a d44 rear on a cj5 and for some reason the axle decided to shear off today on pavement in 2wd. Anyway if anyone has a pass side stub I could get I am in need. Call 928-536-6893 and let me know how much. I would also be up for parts swaps as I'm out of work and cash is tight all around.

Its a true dana 44 with an offset diff. I was looking for used parts if I can get one. Money is tight. Guess Ill try the scrap yards.

From OR.com..................

Before 1972 all CJ Dana 44s had an offset differential since the Dana 18 transfer case has the rear output shaft offset to the passenger side. Before mid 1970, they used a 19 spline or 27 spline, two piece axle shaft. After mid 1970, they used a superior 30 spline flanged axle shaft. a new shaft is only about 60.00 IIRC I would have to guess yours is two piece.. What year is it?
