A friend and I have started a venture into residential home cabling. We have been doing mostly commercial for over 7 years and now the prices have come low enough to be cost effective in a home. We can install multiple cat 5 or cat 6 cables to any and every room you want, we can do coax, fiber optic, surround sound, security and have everything hooked to your computer. The smart home WILL be the future( they are being built in high end homes now) and the cost is not as outrageous as you would think.
