Thought you might enjoy some recent snow run pics (http://community.webshots.com/album/108778556ABHVlM) from Oregon. Makes me want to head up to Flagstaff.

Here (http://jbjeep.terahex.com/snowrun02/snowrun02.html) are a few from the previous year that attended.

That really makes me miss the snow. :( Haven't been on a good snow bashing trail since I left Denver.

k7mto did you go with a club from oregon? I am moving to the portland area this year and would like to find a good jeep club.

Thanks

I belonged to a couple groups/clubs up there. One was the Oregon BushHackers (OBH) (http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/obh/) which is a non-club group akin to the VJC. Just an online Yahoo group consisting of folks with various types of rigs (not just Jeeps). I'd suggest you join the OBH Yahoo group now and introduce yourself. Then by the time you get there you'll already know some folks. Great people. Tell them I sent you and you'll be well taken care of.

The real club I belong(ed) to is the Brush Busters (http://www.brushbusters.org/), the oldest off-road club in Oregon, established 1958. You can post a note on the club guestbook to find out when/where meetings are held (might still be Mama Maria's restaurant on Rt 26 (west side of Portland). Walk-n' are always welcome.

Another club which derived from the Brush Busters is the Jolly Jeepers (http://www.jollyjeepers.org/). They're the oldest all Jeep club in Oregon. The Brush Busters is a smaller group and great people. The Jolly Jeepers is much larger and also nice folks, but their runs tend to attract too many rigs for my tastes. They do hold an annual Back to Basics rally which attracts alot of folks from all over the PNW.

Good luck with your move. You'll enjoy the wheeling up there.
