I appreciated the invite to H2H. What a great time. Good company, good weather, good rocks, ... .
I must admit after everything I had heard about the trail I was a bit nervous to begin with, after the first obstacle, I was in the "bring it on mode" (even though I had to get some help from Woody's winch). Make no mistakes this trail isn't for just anyone, I had some really good spotters that got me through the hard stuff and I had made sure my rig was up to it before trip.
No signifigant carniage, frog broke a driveshaft, luckily he had a backup. Lots of good air, close calls and priceless expressions on the close calls.
Good meeting the few I have never met before. I hope when everyone gets back from camping out I can see some pics.

Randy I asked where you were. I was re-thinking the trip today and I think, not including the guy from CA, the leaf sprung guys won the prize for the trail (the CJ and Jim's YJ). For an over all winner the modified XJ from CA won hands down. That thing worked so good.
Back to repairing the rig, another hour and I should be done. :D

James I was glad you could make the run. I had a lot of fun. We made good time considering we had 9 vehicles with us. Enjoyed the company it made for a great run. This is the first time I have done H2H since I got the MPI. The difference is amazing. Everyone had thier vehicle well prepared for the run which helped make it fun also.

Yup a Great time was had by all that were there... there were a few small incidents on sat night involving One flopped CJ, One XJ wedged in a v-notch on its side, One arm owned by Rick Norman wedged between said XJ and a rock. Hmmmm Yes it was a fun trip....BTW Ricks arm should be ok...as for the XJ....well....

I agree. What a blast. I had a great time, well except for the arm incident and waking up puking Sunday morning. I think those pain pills didn't like the vodka I was drinking. Oh well.
Yo Brandon, hook me up with some video too. If you do, I promise I won't say nuthin' :)

i dunno bout just handin the trophy to the old timers ;) Eric's TJ made it up everything unassisted and certainly provided some excitement :)

Flexy couldn't make it without a winch.
The only thing unique about his jeep, is that it looks more and more like my jeep.
Well, it least it's not parked in my driveway.

Woody you have to remember that all of Flexy's scratches will buff out!
Frog I agree Eric's TJ did well and he did try a one hairy line that I did not (it was interesting??). We will never know if I would have walked the first line if I had not been stupid and left one hub unlocked. I did have the line right though:)
I did find the right line on the last water fall:)
All in all it was great trip and a good group to wheel with. Of course I am used to wheeling with the Rats!
Jim F.
yes that was a great line on the last fall! always an adventure wheelin with the rats!
