Marty,
Except for the tire choice, you have experienced what is not totally
uncommon for a short arm TJ running with a rear locker. The odd part is
that it always lifts the driver's front tire on sharp left turns (with a
bit of speed involved). Long arm lifts reduce or eliminate the lifting
issue. I've never heard of anyone lifting the driver's rear....darn
hard to do during acceleration.

About 2 weeks ago I installed a no-slip in the rear
of my 98 tj d35 every thing seemed to go well and it
tested fine.I noticed a little bit of a lean to
passenger when taking off,I think that might be
normal.
Today I made a sharp left from a stop and it felt like
my left rear tire/rear end came off the ground and I
had a enough lean to passenger to give me a bit of a
scare. I tried it a few more times and it only happens
on sharp left turns.I've got a 4" lift w/stock arms
and rear track bar bracket.Any Ideas what would cause
this.
Thanks Marty

The same thing happens to me now that I have a Detroit in my rear axle - I
can lift my left front tire *really* easily on left turns now. I think it
has something to do with a short wheelbase.... (I run a '61 CJ-5).

Subject: Hardtop....?
Now this is a little weird....
But, does anyone have a hard top that will fit a 89'
YJ (I think any CJ-7 and YJ top will fit, but not sure
about TJ's) I can borrow for a month?
I'm leaving at the end of next week to drive home to
Seattle and I will be gone until mid January.
I have a FastBack soft top that you could of course
borrow while I had the hardtop...but it only fits
early YJ's due to the sloped back.
Anyways, if anyone can help that would be awesome....I
know it's a wild request, but you never know.
Thanks,
Jordan

While having my fornt ARB seal replaced, Four Wheelers Supply
discovered that my front axle tube (Dana 30) on the drivers side is
bent. Four Wheelers Supply send it out and it is currently being
straitened.
From my research, this does not seem to be a real common problem. I
was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if there is a
truss to keep it from happeing. Seems like there are plenty truss for
the rear axle (Dana 35) but nothing desent for a Dana 30. I am
thinking I may have to make a custom truss and weld it on.
Any comments welcome.

Marty,
Except for the tire choice, you have experienced what is not totally
uncommon for a short arm TJ running with a rear locker.

I have no recollection of the drive home....however, I vividly remember

were backed up about 200 yards in traffic from the entrance....and the

Thanks,
Jordan

the same problems I was once told its because the axle is twisting side

While having my fornt ARB seal replaced, Four Wheelers Supply
discovered that my front axle tube (Dana 30) on the drivers side is
bent. Four Wheelers Supply send it out and it is currently being
straitened.
From my research, this does not seem to be a real common problem. I
was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if there is a
truss to keep it from happeing. Seems like there are plenty truss for
the rear axle (Dana 35) but nothing desent for a Dana 30. I am
thinking I may have to make a custom truss and weld it on.
