Just left the festival of lights parade we live right at the start of the
parade and got to see Troy's (Toys by Troy) float it looked sweet! Troy did
a hell of a job it must have been a lot of work. The Jeep was decked out in
lights even on the bead lock rims and was riding on hydraulics that made it
seem to be crawling over the rocks. It was a job well done.

Ken, in short, YES you COULD use a diff cover from a reverse cut D$$,
But you do stand the chance of over filling the diff and having it
either come out of the vent tube @ high speeds, or worse yet leak
from the axle seals in an EXTREME case.....Personaly, I wouldnot
worry about it, because the ring gear will sling enough fluid into
the pinion area for enough lube... Besides, how much lbe do you
actually think it's slinging @ 2MPH????? (Rock Crawling)

the time to switch over . Thanks for the tip , bud .

Ummm..why go through all that work on elongating holes and changing
lines???? The Dodge Ram master cyl from 94-98 1500 bolts right on!! It has
a larger cyl bore (more stopping power) Aluminum cylinder (better heat
dissapation) and holds more fluid.....:)

Hello All,Kent Harman is leading an Unspecified trail run on Saturday, December 13, 2003.

When: 8:00AM
Where: Meet at the Gila Bend Love's gas station
Rating: None
Length: 2 days
CB Channel: 4

El Camino del Diablo

December 13-14

Meet at Gila Bend Love's gas station at 8:00AM on Saturday December 13. From here, we will travel to Ajo, top off our gas tanks, and head on down the trail. The first day we will travel 70 miles to Tule Well. There no facilities at Tule Well, aside from a few picnic tables and raised BBQ grilles. On day two, we'll continue west to the Tinajas Altas and then north to I-8 west of Wellton, for 45 more miles.

In order to travel on the Camino, you need to obtain a permit for the Barry Goldwater Range / Cabeza Prieta National Wildlife Refuge for every person in your party. Getting the permit is easy. You just have to sign the Hold Harmless agreement stating that you won't sue the US government if you decide to pick up that unexploded missile. A call to the refuge office in Ajo (520) 387-5226 can explain where to send the agreement, and what their turnaround time is via mail.

Any four-wheel drive vehicle can complete this trail. Due to its remoteness though, you'll need to come prepared for any unexpected surprises.
Well, the family wanted me to go with them to the APS light parade
last night. It was decent fun. There was one float I especially
liked... a Jeep!! I did not catch for sure whom it was. I did
notice that the side of the truck said "JEEPERS" and there were quite
a few Toys By Troy stickers on the truck and trailer. The Jeep on
the trailer looked great and whomever it was did an excellent job
with the float! Did anyone else here by chance see it?

I'm bringin Horseshoes. Bring your own drinks and food.I plan on finding one of the coves big enough for all Jeeps that come and just have a fun peacefull day at the lake.

At the Coves of Saguaro Lake, there are at least 4 coves to play in, on, and around. Many hill climbs provide a challenge to all levels of 4-Wheelers and vehicles.
Use some upholstery screws ( the ones with a built in washer on them ) and
just screw it back on . The ones that hold the plastic door sills are an
example . The clips are just one way to attach it , screws are better . They
make you feel more like a 'he man' because you got to use your 'Buford' 267
volt cordless drill to install it ..... ; )

Hi all...

I am in the process of disassembling my trac loc (dana 30) so that I can inspect the clutch plates and decide whether or not to install a brand new pack. I removed the pin retaining the spider gears expecting the spider gears and thrust washers to just fall out... but I cant budge them.

Whats do I need to do to get them out? Are the Side Gears under load from the clutches, thus pressing agains the Spider Gears? If so, any tips as to getting them out?

Thanks in advance for any help.
