Fred, I used an air powered cutoff wheel. Smoothed it out with a
flap wheel. I'm looking for a plasma cutter though. Gonna get down and
dirty... Fabricationally speaking. Is that a word? LOL

Cool! I'd like to see those. The engine going in the Willys is already
set up pretty much the same way the Dodge Cummins are. Those wagon
engine compartments are actually pretty roomy.

Errm, my cat converter honeycomb is in pieces, rattling around in the
converter casing. 1994 YJ is notorious for vibration problems
throughout the entire exhaust train. I'm do to replace the entire
exhaust train, starting with new headers, new converter, new muffler,
and all new tubing and oxygen sensor.

I have not smelled anything like natural gas or propane, or rotten eggs,
and my jeep is an open-air affair.

This has come up several times.
Only "trucks" have a covered tire/mud flap, requirement here in Arizona.
Jeeps (well, at least TJ's) are not trucks.
They are "station wagons", so there's no fender/mud guard requirement
for them

ANOTHER ISSUE TO CONSIDER: I will supply a "donation pot" for
ORBA..................... This organization will truly be our salvation
regarding "SAVING OUR TRAILS AND ACCESS" but we must get our businesses
involved. They cannot continue joining in the Arizona fights if the
dealers and businesses won't support them. Hunter Off Road was the
first 4x4 business from Arizona to join ORBA last year but I know it's
sometimes hard for small businesses to scrape up the yearly dues......
so................... how about VJC helping Hunter with his ORBA dues?
A couple of dollars from everyone will quickly total his $1,000.00
membership.

Several of the ASA4WDC clubs are paying the ORBA dues for a local small
business membership. As individuals or clubs we cannot join ORBA but
there's nothing stating we cannot help support the small businesses near
and dear to us!

I can't make the run this year due to prior commitments, however I do have
some gifts I would like to donate.

Anyone on the East side (Gilbert) willing to let me drop them off to you and
have you take them for me?

Thanks,

-Mike Hoyt

I can run them out there for you, Mike. Still unsure if I'll be doing
any runs or just dropping off toys, but I've got room for yours. Feel
free to drop them by anytime as I'm here all day.

bring 3 bags of hamburgers from Costco. Also a couple of bags of
buns. Also will be bringing a big batch of Potato Salad and Deviled
Eggs. See you all there.

Subject: ARB leak

I have a 97 TJ. When the front ARB airlocker is engaged air leaks
from the breather tube. I assume the ARB seal is leaking. Sound like
the cause? Same thing happen right after it was first installed by
FWS and I had them fixing under warranty.

Can I replace this myself? I assume it involves removing the carrier.

If I have it done who can do it for me and what might it cost?

No, Fred's talking about your vehicle title...It should show what
your Jeep is classified as (i.e.- Station Wagon, Sedan, Truck, etc...)
