My friend just sold a identical one for $3500 . Does this one have a Dana 35
rear or a Chrysler 8.25 ? The D35 will say 'D35' on the top left part of the
rear housing , at about the 10 o'clock position on the diff cover . Does it
have the 3 factory skid plates , receiver hitch , factory gauges , console ,
rear sound bar , power windows/locks , tilt steering , is it lifted ,?????
Tell us more .
Purple .

Hello all, Just a quick question to the group, I'm looking at a "92XJ with a
4.0 , 5spd stick with 130,000 miles... Body and interior are clean.. High
book is $2550, low is $1350....Don't think it's ever seen a trail.
Anything I should know about this year/drivetrain?? Thanks, and Happy
Thanksgiving to all !! Bob J

Where did you send them?
Also, is it correct to assume that the 6" lift and the new front drive
shaft all happened at the same time? If so, your vibration may be your
front pinion angle and not your drive shaft.

Curious to speak to anyone who has replaced their speakers in the sound pods (the overhead ones (; ). Are the stock speakers sealed into the pod somehow? I don't want to just rip them out of there if its going to cause some damage, but I figure there's got to be a reasonable way to remove the speakers, since upgrading sound systems is a common thing (:

You may have to live with the vibes. At around 6" lift, my front vibes
started.
You can try adjusting your pinion angle up to lessen the vibes, but you can
only do so much before creating some drivability issues due to too much
positive caster.
Are you sure it's the front driveshaft?? You can always pull it, then see if
the vibes are still there.
Good Luck,

Four screws in each speaker, and out the come. They have a rubber seal
that might hold them in, but a little pull and they come right out.

God knows I have a ton to be thankful for also. I have been quiet
about this because for one it is OT and two I wanted to know exactly
what was going on, but about 4 weeks ago I was diagnosed with skin
cancer. I have been cut on several places (some more than once),
poked, examined (every inch of my body), xrayed and a number of
other things. It looks like I caught it in time. This last week I
got word that my blood was fine, the xrays were "normal" (I guess as
normal as I can be) and all the cancer was cut off with ample
margins.
So a warning to you all, always where sunscreen. This doesn't insure
you won't get anything, but it sure helps. You guys that weld, be
really careful. My God, I think of some of things I did when I was
welding for a living, very bad.
You all have a great day and be thankful for your families. They

I think if the vibes are while under acceleration, it's usually the rear
shaft, and if decelerating you get the vibes, then it's the front?

Glad to hear everything is ok James! :-) Its funny as you get a little
older how you begin to realize and then accept your mortallity. I had a

When your young your bulletproof. "It can't happen to me" was my prevailing
attitude. Realizing the consequences of your actions can be very sobering.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I absolutely do not tan, I burn

in a LOT of sun. So far, my dermatologist says I am OK.
Hope your dermatologist says so too, for you, for many years to come.

Nope........ Middle Gila Conservation Partnership........
This group was formed by the chairman of the Tourism & Recreation Sub
Group of the BLM Resource Advisory Council 3 years ago (June 2000 was
first meeting...... monthly since then) following my problems obtaining
a permit for the 1st Rock Crawl in Florence Junction. This partnership
includes all the BLM, Land Dept., Forest Service, Game & Fish, ASARCO
(mining), National Guard, ranchers, Pinal County, Town of Florence,
bikers, hikers, Sierra Club, Wilderness Coalition, Arizona Trail, Great
Western Trail AND OHV recreationists.
The plans are to insure access for ALL recreation........ along with
conservation and/or preservation of the cultural and historical sites in
this area.
The MGCP boundries are: Hwy 60 on the north; Hwy 79 on the west, Hwy
177 and 77 on the south and east. The first portion (pilot project) is
everything north of the Gila River.
The meetings have been held during the week at the Town Hall in
Florence. Most OHV participants have dropped out due to the hours and
time frame so hopefully having evening meetings will enable more to
attend and join in the partnership.
Tucson BLM will have the route inventory maps available at the Dec. 11
meeting as well as CD's with all the data. We MUST identify ALL our
trails on these maps. The actual "designation" of trails will begin in
late January.
We do need RED shirts AND interest.......... this meeting will be a
"working" meeting. Not simply an "open house" .... chit chat
meeting..... YOUR thoughts and input will be considered but if OHV do
not show an interest we will lose what little we do have. Tucson BLM
are still closing trails on "their belief" some trails are "Not in
compliance with the 1988 Resource Management Plan (RMP). WE are the
only ones that can prove this wrong.
Hope to see you ALL at the National Guard Amory at 52nd street and
McDowell on Dec. 11....... 6:00 p.m.

Subject: RE: MGCP
11....... 6:00 p.m.

4.0 , 5spd stick with 130,000 miles... Body and interior are clean.. High
book is $2550, low is $1350....Don't think it's ever seen a trail.
Anything I should know about this year/drivetrain?? Thanks, and Happy

Good Luck,
Rick

11....... 6:00 p.m.
