By to much braking do you mean locking up the fronts but not locking the
rears? How did you solve the problem...a new proportioning valve?

Thanks, but I am not looking for beadlock wheels. All I want is plain
aluminum alloys with a simple pattern and at least a 3000# rating.

Good point! Thanks for the reminder. Likewise for all the men and women
stationed anywhere else, when they'd rather be home with their loved ones:
Thank you for your service, and for your and your families' sacrifices.
For those of you who have served in the past, I'm proud to be one of you

future has my total support and thanks as well.
For the rest of us, let's make this a country our military can be proud to

all 7 factory speakers, plus a pair of polk 4x6 coaxils and brackets for

More than likely, the linkage that controls the flow of radiator coolant
through your heat exchanger is either broken or loose.....either at the
control panel end or the other end where it interfaces with the
temperature control valve.

Or it could be something as simple as your radiator water level is
too low.

Subject: Mookie's submerged and rescued J10 update.
Heya,
It's been a few weeks and a lot of work since the vjc rescued me. I
did found out that it is quite rare. It is a 1971 "Levi Strauss" J10.
1 in 50 where made with the stock doors with denim and levi buttons
and levi blue paint.
I have made many changes and am getting closer to finishing the
refurb. In the last three weeks I've done these things:
RECYCLED:
Hood
Front Leaf Springs
Passenger Front Fender
Front Grill
NEW:
Windshield
Clutch fork / Throwout bering
Distrib
Alt
Plugs
Battery
Tires: 33 x 1050 BFG All T/A on my old 15x8 wheels
I had the original paint matched and will have it painted by the end
of next week. Before and after pictures will be available soon.
I have a few issues I will need some help with.
1: The bering on my front diff is gone. The driveshaft grinds in the
axle now and wiggles around a lot. I don't know much about it but I
am not using 4 until it's fixed.
2: The seal under my carb has a leak. I can hear it puttering out the
seal just below the carb. I'm not real familiar with this either but
I do understand I'm losing gas milage pretty bad.
3: Since plummeting into the water the clutch has been bad. I had the
clutch fork and throwout bering replaced (which were bad) and now I'm
getting this horrible rattling of the clutch fork with my foot off of
the clutch. I have to apply maybe 1 pound of pressure to the clutch
and then it feels fine. I don't have enough gear to do the job on my
own.
What should I do, who should I call, or you can call me.
THANKS

Thanks Joey for forwarding this to me. I did drop an e-mail account to open
one for the RockRats and missed changing the AZVJC over to another account.
Now to the MGCP. It is a partnership formed about 2 years ago to work
together on land use issues in the Florence Junction area. They have done a
good job helping with the Tucson BLM office as they are all greenies.
Anyone is welcome at the meeting on the 11th. Wear "Red"!!! They are going
to have maps available on the route inventory at the meeting we all need to
check these maps. We also need a large turnout to show we are interested.
They usually hold meetings during the day in Florence and are doing this
evening meeting to get our input. If we have a poor turnout it will look as
though we do not care.
I am sorry I had my e-mail screwed up Wayne and to anyone else that has
tried to send mail through the AZVJC group link.

By to much braking do you mean locking up the fronts but not locking the

Thanks, but I am not looking for beadlock wheels. All I want is plain

More than likely, the linkage that controls the flow of radiator coolant
through your heat exchanger is either broken or loose.....either at the
control panel end or the other end where it interfaces with the
temperature control valve.

Or it could be something as simple as your radiator water level is
too low.

THANKS

Subject: MGCP
