Yup, I had seen that also.
For about the same amount of money, I like the PSC ones better. They
don't use nuts and bolts around the outside of the fender, but weld it
instead. I think that looks nicer. You don't have the little gap on the
PSC ones that the MetalFusion ones have.
Also the PSC ones use a solid piece of metal that bolts to all four of
the inner fender well bolts (that's really a big support area).. The MF
ones use two tabs and just two of those inner fender bolts.

Best,
Fred

Those links worked. Looks like great fun and a well done video to
boot! Maybe I should go that route and save some money with the
mods.

Thanks for putting up with us, Sandee. I was at the freeway opening and had
told Bill that they we applications and if he could find who took them home,
he could get one from them. While we're complaining about the permit process,
we should gripe about the fact that the info is in a tri-fold pamphlet. I
mean, that takes a lot of effort to open up and see what's actaully in there
right? ;-)

I think I've already answered this but here's info for files again.........
and yes Bob, there were only information brochures available at the highway
opening. Not even applications. Hopefully I can convince them to allow the
shops and myself to sell them again................. This whole thing is
beyond stupid but until we can get this procedure changed I guess we have to
play the game. Sandee

Subject: Promoting Table Mesa Clean-up

I went to a Popular Outdoor store on Bell and 27th Ave to ask them to post
up a flyer. They told me to stick a few on a rack.

I went to The new Outdoor Warehouse at I-17 and Yorkshire and they posted
two on the main entry board and even asked who to contact to get more.
They will get my outdoor money from now on!
The Outdoor Warehouse also had a live broadcast from KNIX at the time. I
gave them a flier and they will work on PSA's for the event near the end of
Jan.
This year the AZVJC is sponsoring this event if we get half the input we
usually do for events I am sure we can make it even bigger then last year,
(about 350 showed up).
I will hit Game and Fish and some OHV stores in the area this week also.
Get the fliers out early and often.

Subject: HELP with steering stabilizer

I just bought an ES2000 steering stabilizer, the problem is, that the
kit comes with a bolt that fits snug inside the bushing...but it will
not work on my YJ, I have to use the stock bolt and it is too small
and the bolt will wobble around inside the bushing. The kit also
comes with a sleeve but it is the same size as my bolt, so that will
not work either! Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

TIA, Greg

Subject: Onboard Air Finished

Hi all,
Well the onboard air system on the CJ is complete, well real close anyhow. Want to solder some connections rather than the wire nuts that are there right now, but otherwise, it is fully functional.
Did a quick post of some pix on the link below if anyone wants to take a look. Some of the pix got lost in the transfer.
Think the cost came in around $125.00 or just a tiny bit more. Would have to sit down and cipher but thought that was a good price!

MARK YOUR CALENDARS!!!<br>
<br>
As announced several months ago the next few months of the MGCP meetings<br>
will rotate from north to south (Phoenix to Tucson) and will be evening<br>
meetings in the local areas. We hope this schedule will enable those that<br>
have been unable to make it to Florence during regular working hours to be<br>
involved in the happenings in the Florence Junction area land planning<br>
partnership.<br>
<br>
We've plowed through the Vision and Mission Statements, the objectives and<br>
goals and are now on a roll towards beginning implementation of the plans<br>
we've all worked towards for three years.<br>
<br>
BLM will have the inventory maps of the MGCP Pilot area available for<br>
verification of trails and areas of concern. Although the non-motorized<br>
trails are not indicated on this particular map we need to identify<br>
non-motorized trails along with motorized trails. Also the Great Western<br>
Trail and issues with it will be discussed. There will be discussions<br>
regarding a trails plan on the State Trust Lands on the west side of this<br>
area.<br>

This is used to add Land Use Meetings to the AzVJC Events List.

I have not personally done one myself yet(plan to), but I have heard
nothing but good things about them. However, I have never heard of
the Trailmaster setup.

Does anyone know of anyone who makes full hard tops for scramblers? I have heard of a place called AJ's or something like that, but I can't find any info on them. I don't think they are in the valley, back east some where I think. Any info on full hard tops for scramblers would be helpful. Thx

Subject: [TR] Jack Handle - Saturday, December 6, 2003

Hello All,Jeff Titus is leading a Jack Handle trail run on Saturday, December 6, 2003.<br><br>When: Start time around 8am
Where: TOYS FOR TOTS RUN
Rating: 3.5+
Length:
CB Channel: 8

This is one of the trails that we will be running on <br>
Dec.6th The Leader for this run will be Tom Jacobson.(Thanks Tom!)

Jack Handle is a nice but fairly short loop trail that has a number of challenging obstacles. It starts out in a fairly flat wash. It then winds around as the trail gets tighter and tighter.<br>
<br>
There are a few small waterfalls and many table sized boulders to navigate along the way, including a fairly narrow slot that you have to scramble up. This slot makes it a very tight squeeze for full size vehicles (and probably not advisable). The trail can be run in about 2 hours or so.<br>
<br>
The first guy to run this trail didn't see one boulder and ended up using his jack handle as a temporary tie rod to finish the trail so keep your eyes open along the way. When you think you at the end, the trail juts up out on the wash and gives you a view of the whole area. Then you are in for a few roller coasters and a steep drop back to where you started.<br>
<br>
This is not a trail to be tried unless you are an experienced 4-wheeler with a well equipped vehicle. High clearance and some traction devices are required. Water and your camera are a must.<br>

Length:
CB Channel: 8

This is one of the trails that we will be doing for the TOYS FOR TOTS run. The leader of this run will be <br>
Steve James. (Thanks Steve!)

Lower Ajax wash crosses and continues along portions of the road to the Ajax Mine. It is the typical "wash;" for the most part you cross over and around the rock obstacles. There are a few 2 - 4 ft. waterfalls or narrow rock areas to find your way over or through but there are several by-passes. The wash is set among the rolling hills below the Ajax Mine.<br>
<br>
This trail is fun and a challenge for the moderate 4-wheeler, although this trail is not for the inexperienced driver nor a stock vehicle.<br>
<br>
A rear Traction Device, and 31" + tires are required..<br>

Subject: [OT] (FS) PISTOL

Hi all;

Just a quick note...I have a new Para Ordnance 12-45 .45cal compact
semi-auto. I have two 12 round mags, some ammo, and a nice nylon
holster with spare mag holder. I've fired ONE box of ammo thru it!! I
paid about 650 for the pistol, 50 for the extra mag, around 30 for the
holster, and about 12 bucks a box for the ammo. I cannot use this
particular weapon at work (it's not on our 'list'), so I'm selling it
(need a few extra bucks for x-mas too!) I'm asking $575 o.b.o. for
everything. Drop me an e-mail for details, or to buy if interrested.

Thanks;

The Powerline Trail does a figure 8 as you travel along the powerline, up a off-camber hill and then back down to a grassy meadow and back up another slippery "switchback" trail.<br>
<br>
This trail is truly a challenge for the moderate 4-wheeler. Some type of locking device is recommended, as well as clearance and 31' tires. Totally stock vehicles and/or novice drivers are not recommended. This is an all day trip. Don't forget your lunch & water.<br>
