so you paid $50 for the jeep and now you are whining cause you may have to
put up some bucks :)

take the shift fork assembly off and see what the prob is. you can bypass the
t-case shifter switch and install an on-dash manual switch like i and others
have done. this will allow you to be in 4LO and disco the front axle and run
in 3WD. this is the hot set-up if running an automatic locker up front. easier
to turn and get out of tight squeezes without snapping a joint or axle.

you can pick up a dash control off an old wagoneer in the junk yard for next
to nothing---a 6-pack of old milwakee.

I was thinking that it would be cool if we could put together a
combinatoin azvjc get together and food drive pior to the christmas
holiday. What I have in mind is a party on a Saturday during the day
with horseshoes and vollyball combined with a food drive for St Marys
Food Bank. I spoke with The owner of the Cyote Hill Bar and Grill.
This bar sits on 5 acers of property and he he has just completed a
very nice outdoor area with vollyball and horshoe pits. He said we
are welcome to break it in. I also think we could get a live band and
a pig roast going back there if we have enough intrest. I think I can
put it together but I need to know If there is any interest. This
could be a great time and its not to far from the White Tanks so we
could even throw in some short runs. What do you think?? This would
be a great chance to meet some new friends and gab about jeeps

Hey all,

Not sure who else out there doesn't have family in this neck of the
woods, but my Thanksgiving weekend is looking like it may be The Great
Turkey Day Wrench Fest. Putting on the rocker skids, body and motor
lift and flat t/c skid, along with some other assorted projects that
need finished. I am thinking that if anyone else is looking for a place
to be on Thanksgiving (I can't be the only loser on here. uh Right?),
drop me a line. There is a TV in the garage, I mihgt buy a six pack or
two, and I am thinking of smoking a turkey. If I can find papers that
big (ba-da-BASH- Thankyou, Thankyou very much, Im here thru Friday,
remember to tip your waitress....).

Anyway.

Also, my e-mail tells me my new JeepStereo is on the way, and could use
a little advice from any experienced stereo installer/setter-upper kinda
person.

Wanna have all my cool stuff on for T4T /BBQ.

That answer you got on VJC was good. Just want to add that if you put
the one piece TJ/XJ axles you will need to replace the axle seal at the
diff on the passenger side.

I have heard the stories. I have not dealt with them at any time. They only
take cash. Per the story that is because the credit cards can be credited
even if they do not like it.
I only saw transcripts of the transaction, but they did not look good for
customer service.
Personally I would think not twice but three times before I spent money
with them.

4 aluminum and 1 steel and are all in great shape! let me know!

I see Jeff has posted my run for me...thanks Jeff! Hehehe.

One comment/correction is that this will be a full loop of the Martinez
Canyon. If we get some Jeeps close to stock, they are more than welcome
to join in up to the cabin. But much beyond that (stock can get thru
the wash after the cabins and up to the rock garden leading to the
Mill), I'd recommend a minimum 3" lift, 31's and a locker/lim slip won't
hurt. Plan an easy 4+ hours on the trail. Is very easy to spend time
looking around and taking in the scenery on Martinez.

Lead on Jeff...looks like I get to tailgun this one.
Ahhhhh...relaxing!

Rating: 3.5-
Length: 6
CB Channel: 4

I am taking my sister from out of town for a little Arizona scenerary and offroading. This trail runs by some nice mine buidings and is fairly quick trip.

The Sunflower Mine Loop is a fun trail that offers a little something for everyone. It takes 3 – 4 hours to complete allowing for time to poke around and explore. The loop starts as an easy 2.5 trail that winds along a hillside and slowly descends into the canyon. After crossing a bridge you continue up the canyon until you arrive at the Sunflower Mine site. The mine’s processing building is still standing and is in decent shape. Stock vehicles can make this section of the loop easily, however the next section requires higher ground clearance and aggressive tires.

After leaving the mine the trails continues up a shady canyon becoming more tight and challenging as it runs across and up a rocky creek bed. The bed is usually dry but can be very slippery when water is running. After awhile you make a hard right turn up a steep rock wall obstacle and continue to climb a loose rocky road out of the canyon and into the pines and junipers. At the top the trail continues with some washed out sections, passes a couple of more mine shafts, and gradually becomes easier as you return to the loops starting point.

Remember to pack water, a lunch, and bring your camera.

are also collecting for the Toys For Tots Run if your not able to

your thinking of another time. I like the idea of the volleyball.
Maybe we can play some Jeep Socker LOL Get a huge ball and a huge
goal with about 5 jeeps on each side in a HUGE play area :o) Straight

Hunter's 4th Semi-annual AZVJC BBQ!!!
Since this is so close to Christmas, I figured I would turn this into
a AZVJC Christams Party!! I will have tree up and the whole nine.. Be
really nice if maybe someone would like to volunteer to be Santa
Claus for the kids??
Do the standard routine, bring lots of food. Bring the BBQ's, have a
raffle. (PLan on putting together a big one if I can get a good turn
out)Also, the New Ramp will be there, so the Ramp Contest can start
all overagain. Was also thinking of a contest for the Best Christmas
