Russell,
It is possible that you have just somehow inadvertently enabled a feature in the radio that once was off? If you have the owner's manual for the radio... you may want to review it. Perhaps there is an "Display always on" setting?

Recently whenever I turn the Jeep off and take out the key, my stereo is still energized. I can turn it off but the display stays illuminated so I know its drawing power. It never used to be that way. Has my switch gone bad or a is there a stuck relay somewhere? Its a 92 Wrangler.

Kat & Jeff,
I'm definitely planning to be at the T4T run this year. I may still be
"tentative" on the sign-up, but will change that as the time gets
closer. I'll be there unless something unexpected comes up.
Am willing to lead a run...possibly a "shorter" run (ie. not Martinez
Loop or Coke Ovens). Wife and baby will be there, but driving out
separately. That should leave me with room for ONE passenger.
Can lead trail from easy up to 4.0 or 4.5. I like the Upper
Woodpecker, Upper Ajax and Jackhandle trails...so would prefer one of
those.
See you there!

Hello All,

Just me and my Jeep, my buddy and his 4Runner, and another buddy riding with me. The Kilby is great, no scraping at all. No water in the creek, but it was a beautiful day and we still had fun playing around. Another great day of wheelin'.

Rating: 2.5+
Length: All day
CB Channel: 8
This is the Second Annual AZVJC Toys For Tots toy collection (we hope to make this an annual event.) This year we are going to have it where we were supposed to have it last time, at the Jamboree campground. Actually, we'll be right at the gate entrance off of SR79. We won't be leading any runs or providing any food this time (sorry). All we ask is for a new unwapped gift. If anyone out there wants to lead a run, we'll have a sign-up sheet at the site.<br>
We will also have a Toys For Tots drop off box at the BBQ for people who can not make the run.
Martinez Cabin is a wonderful trail for the "new" 4-wheeler with his stock vehicle and family.<br>
<br>
This trail will take you into Martinez Canyon which has to be one of the most beautiful canyons in the area, in league with Sedona red bluffs!! <br>

You can have lunch under the Cottonwood trees at the old homestead and you may explore the old mill.<br>

Jim, If your trailer has brakes then you will need a controller to activate
them while driving. Some trailers are equipped with an emergency breakaway
braking system that requires a battery and controller that are mounted to
the trailer. Some state require all trailers to be outfitted with these but
AZ is not one of them.
What are you towing the Jeep trailer with? If is less than a 3/4 ton pick
up you might look into another set of brakes for the 2nd axle. It never
hurts to have extra stopping power! AZ law does require brakes on any
trailer over 2000#. So you must get a controller hooked up in your tow
vehicle to be legal. A Tekonsha Prodigy is one of the best controllers on
the market.

Kat & Jeff,
I'm definitely planning to be at the T4T run this year.

Hello All,
James Rogers lead a trail run Monday, November 17, 2003 across Sycamore Creek
Just me and my Jeep, my buddy and his 4Runner, and another buddy riding with me. The Kilby is great, no scraping at all. No water in the creek, but it was a beautiful day and we still had fun playing around. Another great day of wheelin'.

Chris,
I know this is a silly question to ask, but why not go to larger
diameter wheels and get the added stability that goes along with them?

Big thanks to Bob and everyone else that made this little event a
success. Was my first Freeway party and was pretty fun and interesting.
Had a good time bs-ing with the other VJC'ers that showed up and also
checking out the displays.
To Jordan, John and Jeff (sorry, your individual emails are bouncing
back to me), I'm planning to do a mountain bike ride this Saturday
morning. Will be starting
from the Walgreens at the corner of Power and Thomas. Ride up to the
top of Hawes trail through the Las Sendas neighborhood and do whichever
interior loops from there. Be there at 8am if you're interested.
See ya,

Because I already have reasonably new tires and wheels on the TJ. I'd
lose too much selling them and buying new ones, especially with the
sweet deal Rick B hook me up with for the wheels.

Hello All,Jeff Titus is leading a Martinez Cabin trail run on Saturday, December 6, 2003.<br><br>When: Saturday December 6 2003
Where:
<br>
This trail will take you into Martinez Canyon which has to be one of the most beautiful canyons in the area, in league with Sedona red bluffs!! <br>
<br>
You can have lunch under the Cottonwood trees at the old homestead and you may explore the old mill.<br>
<br>
Stock vehicle, stock tires and novice drivers, this would be a wonderful trail for you!!<br>
<br>
Enjoy and remember to TREAD Lightly!

I recently bought a trailer for my Jeep. Dual Axle, one axle apparently has electric brakes. I'm not real sure what the law requires as far as hooking these up, how to do it etc.
I've read articles where it sounds like just an emergency brake for if the trailer breaks loose but anyhow, fill me in if you can.
I appreciate y'all putting up with some of my PITA questions!

A Tekonsha Prodigy is one of the best controllers on
the market.
