Has anyone swapped out their 4.2L inline 6 for a newer 4.0 or something similiar? I'm hoping to do this with mine very soon, just looking for engines/trannys now. I want to revamp my jeep completely. Any shops in the east valley that are reasonable or will help find right motor? Thanks for the input in advance.

I remember that! That was one of the funniest things I had ever

This is the Second Annual AZVJC Toys For Tots toy collection (we hope to make this an annual event.) This year we are going to have it where we were supposed to have it last time, at the Jamboree campground. Actually, we'll be right at the gate entrance off of SR79. We won't be leading any runs or providing any food this time (sorry). All we ask is for a new unwapped gift. If anyone out there wants to lead a run, we'll have a sign-up sheet at the site.
We will also have a Toys For Tots drop off box at the BBQ for people who can not make the run.

Martinez Cabin is a wonderful trail for the "new" 4-wheeler with his stock vehicle and family.
This trail will take you into Martinez Canyon which has to be one of the most beautiful canyons in the area, in league with Sedona red bluffs!!
For the record, the specs on the VIAIR 200A are:

Viair 200A Air Compressor

The 200A 12v compressor is designed for onboard air hookup to an air
tank as well as direct inflation of 33" and smaller tires. This
compressor flows 1.02 cfm @ 60psi and .81 cfm @ 100psi and has a max
working pressure of 150psi. This compressor has a max amperage of
23amps and a 20% duty cycle rating @ 100psi.

Specifications:
Voltage: 12 Volt
Max Amperage: 23 Amps
Horse Power: 1/4
Max Working Pressure: 150 PSI
Max Restart Pressure: 200 PSI
Max Ambient Temp: 158°F
Min Ambient Temp: -40°F
Motor: Permanent Magnetic
Max Duty Cycle @ 30 PSI: 40 min (@72°F)
Max Duty Cycle @ 100 PSI: 20% (8 min on/32 min off @ 72°F)
Dimensions: 6.25"L x 3.5"W x 4.5"H
Net Weight: 4-1/4lbs.

I just noticed the operating temp. At one point in the test we had
the head temp at 147*C so that is about 420*F, smoking..... wow

Yes if you change the input shaft. The AX5 and AX15 are pretty much the
same tranny. I believe that it is the input shaft that makes the 5
weaker. Which you would have to change on the 15 to mate it to the 2.5L

Don't hold me to this without a second opinion.

Do not know about everyone else but I have no intention of returning

lead it myself or follow. Would like to do both routes on a loop

someone trailers and stop at the camp site at the top for lunch.

Anyone want to do a Martinez Canyon run after this?

How hard is Powerline?

Hi Gang,

For those of you who either have, or are planning on installing killswitches in one of the workshops... what do you think of this:

A big thanks to Andrew at SignXpressions for coming up with the design.

I think the price will be something like a buck each... and the size is 1" by 3"

Subject: [az_vjc] Help! Kill switch info

I am new here and a day or so ago I read a post from someone in Mesa
putting on a clinic on sunday nov 16 I believe. I had only found the
second of two messages and wrote a post to the person who was putting
on the clinic for more info. Afterwards I found the first message
with the whole description of the clinic and info on future clinics
on installing kill switches and hood locks. Now I cant find any of
the messages. Maybe I am blind or something. I have spent a lot
of time looking through all of this site and cant seem to find the
info. Any help would be appreciated.

Ray
