71 TJ??
FWIW, though...I agree with what he said. They each are different vehicles

1. the easiest way to shift into 4low is to have the tranny in
Neutral and be rolling at 1-5MPH.
2. Yes the dashes are also for the Rubicon, so you can see where the

Gary,
$7 per hour isn't a living wage, so that bonus better equate to at least $3
per hour. I don't think $14k per year is even above the poverty standard.
Just my thoughts,

Hi Gary,
Don't apologize for the off-topic post... you put the requisite OT in the
subject line, which people can easily filter if they choose to do so.
One of the cool things about the AZVJC is that we try to look after each
other... posting jobs when jobs are scarce is a good thing and I would
encourage everyone to continue to do this as long as they remember to put OT
in the subject line or [OT] which is even better since the brackets will
help in the filtering process so that words like OTher don't get filtered.
Kind Regards,
Joe West

Hey Mike,
No this person doesn't need to live in the Payson area.
Things are going well and a bit chilly. About 27 degrees this
morning and just had the first snowfall of the winter up on the rim
Monday. They got about an inch and of course it's mostly melted now.

Subject: [TR] Trip Report - South End White Tanks Area - Sunday, November 2, 2003
Hello All,
jason silva lead a trail run Sunday, November 2, 2003 across South End White Tanks Area
wow, what a day! <br>
<br>
first off, we were delayed by the nascar traffic on I-10. we got aired down and pulled out onto the trail around 10:00 with 6 rigs in all. 3 tj's, 1 xj, 1 rubicon, and a straight-axled toyota tacoma.<br>
<br>
with me at the helm, we ran through appetizer and only had one real casualty, a broken motor mount on the xj (although, i believe carl and barry understand why bumperettes are optional ;^). after looking the motor mount over, we decided to give it a go and continue.<br>
<br>
tax collector was the next trail of choice. nice lil trail with a couple of options to play on. took some great pics on v- notch and the last obstacle . made it through with no problems this time.<br>
<br>
carl and his family opted against running firebird until he upgraded on tire size. and barry and his brand new rubicon opted out, but hopped in with me as designated picture taker. with me never running the firebird before, we had the locked yota take the lead for this one. this trail is non-stop rocks but i was told it has gotten easier over the last couple of months.<br>
<br>
about half-way up, we noticed that the xj was having a lil trouble getting up some the the obstacles that he would usually just walk over. upon inspection we noticed his rear locker wasnt engaging. being open in the front, the rest of the trail was deffinitely going to be interesting.<br>
<br>
we continued and almost made it out when we noticed some thing hanging down from the axle of the xj. <br>
carnage #3; broken lower control arm bracket at the driver side axle. we amputated the control arm on the trail and decided to early out after the waterfall.<br>
<br>
we put him in 2wd and hooked him to bill and the "lil tj that could" and pulled him to the exit. that was the easy part. getting him up the loose side of the wash was going to be fun.<br>
<br>
after a couple of tries with bill's 4 banger, we hooked 2 tow straps to the yota at the very top and gave it a yank. snap! half-way up the strap broke. quickly grabbed another and tried it again but with success.<br>
<br>
we limped it back to the air down spot when an ambulance and 2 fire trucks wizzed by heading to the dunes. seems some kid endoed his dirt bike and had to be air lifted out :^(<br>
<br>
makes you realize that after all the carnage we had along the way, it could have been worse.<br>
<br>
well i had a great time with everyone, and couldnt have asked for more out of my first time as trail lead. look foward to many more.<br>

1. the easiest way to shift into 4low is to have the tranny in
Neutral and be rolling at 1-5MPH.
2. Yes the dashes are also for the Rubicon, so you can see where the
Front and Rear locker display is. Not an factory option for the X.
3. Time to have fun with the new jeep;-)

Gary,
$7 per hour isn't a living wage, so that bonus better equate to at least $3

Hi Gary,
Don't apologize for the off-topic post... you put the requisite OT in the
subject line, which people can easily filter if they choose to do so.
Kind Regards,
Joe West

It says OT (off topic) in the header. This lets you know it isn't Jeep related, so no need to click if you don't want to.

Hey Mike,
No this person doesn't need to live in the Payson area.
Things are going well and a bit chilly. About 27 degrees this
morning and just had the first snowfall of the winter up on the rim
Monday. They got about an inch and of course it's mostly melted now.

Hey... He's got a 71 TJ! (I'm thinking that he's a little confused about his
CJ?). Anyways, You should invite him to the group. At least hes got a sense
of humor enough to respond back and maybe we can show em where we run. :-)

Subject: [TR] Trip Report - South End White Tanks Area - Sunday, November 2, 2003
Hello All,
jason silva lead a trail run Sunday, November 2, 2003 across South End White Tanks Area
wow, what a day! <br>
<br>
first off, we were delayed by the nascar traffic on I-10. we got aired down and pulled out onto the trail around 10:00 with 6 rigs in all. 3 tj's, 1 xj, 1 rubicon, and a straight-axled toyota tacoma.<br>
<br>
with me at the helm, we ran through appetizer and only had one real casualty, a broken motor mount on the xj (although, i believe carl and barry understand why bumperettes are optional ;^). after looking the motor mount over, we decided to give it a go and continue.<br>
<br>
tax collector was the next trail of choice. nice lil trail with a couple of options to play on. took some great pics on v- notch and the last obstacle . made it through with no problems this time.<br>
<br>
carl and his family opted against running firebird until he upgraded on tire size. and barry and his brand new rubicon opted out, but hopped in with me as designated picture taker. with me never running the firebird before, we had the locked yota take the lead for this one. this trail is non-stop rocks but i was told it has gotten easier over the last couple of months.<br>
<br>
about half-way up, we noticed that the xj was having a lil trouble getting up some the the obstacles that he would usually just walk over. upon inspection we noticed his rear locker wasnt engaging. being open in the front, the rest of the trail was deffinitely going to be interesting.<br>
<br>
we continued and almost made it out when we noticed some thing hanging down from the axle of the xj. <br>
carnage #3; broken lower control arm bracket at the driver side axle. we amputated the control arm on the trail and decided to early out after the waterfall.<br>
<br>
we put him in 2wd and hooked him to bill and the "lil tj that could" and pulled him to the exit. that was the easy part. getting him up the loose side of the wash was going to be fun.<br>
<br>
after a couple of tries with bill's 4 banger, we hooked 2 tow straps to the yota at the very top and gave it a yank. snap! half-way up the strap broke. quickly grabbed another and tried it again but with success.<br>
<br>
we limped it back to the air down spot when an ambulance and 2 fire trucks wizzed by heading to the dunes. seems some kid endoed his dirt bike and had to be air lifted out :^(<br>
<br>
makes you realize that after all the carnage we had along the way, it could have been worse.<br>
<br>
well i had a great time with everyone, and couldnt have asked for more out of my first time as trail lead. look foward to many more.<br>
