Hello All,Jeff Titus is leading a Martinez Cabin trail run on Saturday, December 6, 2003.<br><br>When: Saturday December 6 2003

Rating: 2.5+
Length: All day
CB Channel: 8
This is the Second Annual AZVJC Toys For Tots toy collection (we hope to make this an annual event.) This year we are going to have it where we were supposed to have it last time, at the Jamboree campground. Actually, we'll be right at the gate entrance off of SR79. We won't be leading any runs or providing any food this time (sorry). All we ask is for a new unwapped gift. If anyone out there wants to lead a run, we'll have a sign-up sheet at the site.<br>
We will also have a Toys For Tots drop off box at the BBQ for people who can not make the run.
Martinez Cabin is a wonderful trail for the "new" 4-wheeler with his stock vehicle and family.<br>
<br>
This trail will take you into Martinez Canyon which has to be one of the most beautiful canyons in the area, in league with Sedona red bluffs!! <br>
<br>
You can have lunch under the Cottonwood trees at the old homestead and you may explore the old mill.<br>
<br>
Stock vehicle, stock tires and novice drivers, this would be a wonderful trail for you!!<br>
<br>
Enjoy and remember to TREAD Lightly!

To me it doesn't really matter, as long as it is strong enough. I understand making bends for clearance and such, but for the most part the addition of bends will only make it weaker.
Remeber all that really matters is the distance between 2 points. Fancy bends are great, and may make it look like your drag link angle is excellent via a near vertical section, but regardless, if one point is higher than the other and the length of the bar is constant, then as the suspension compresses those points will be pressed apart.
So what really matters is keeping the mounts for your drag link and trac bar the same distance apart in both hieght and length...You want them to be parrallel, that is straight lines between the upper and lower mounts of each to be parrallel.
As for ease of steering and lower stress on the steering box, try to get you drag link as low to parallel as possible.

Hello All,Tom Schenk is leading a Lake Pleasant to Crown King trail run
on Sunday, November 9, 2003.<br><br>When: Meet 10am - I don't function
well before then.<br>
Leave ASAP.
Where: I don't know where to meet by the trail, so how about we meet on
I-17/Carefree Hwy. exit, you know that dirt lot on the right where
someone is always selling some junk.
Rating: 3.0-
Length: All day
CB Channel: 4
I anticipate a cool drive up through the pines in CK. All I can think
about is one of those damn tasty patty melts at the CK Saloon.
The Lake Pleasang to Crown King trail is a local favorite. On any given
weekend, there will be numerous groups of four wheelers, ATV's and
motorcycles heading to and from Crown King. It is a fun and scenic trail
into the cooler pines of the Bradshaws. <a
href="../Main/History.asp">This trail was the first trip ever done by
AzVJC.</a>
The trail takes off from the Castle Hotsprings Rd and travels through
the foot hills and up the side of the mountain, giving nice views of
Lake Pleasant and the Valley. There are some tougher optional sections
that can make it interesting.
The trail goes through the old ghost towns of Fort Misery and Oro Belle,
both of which are remnants of the Mining era of the Bradshaw Mountains.
All that remains now, are foundations and a few crumbling walls. Fort
Misery makes a nice place to stop and eat lunch as the small creek
usually has running water and there are trees to provide shade.
In the winter months, the trail from Fort Misery through Oro Belle to
Crown King will often have snow and/or ice. In the summer, an early
start is necessary to stay ahead of the rising temperatures.
Once on top of the mountain, the trail runs through the cool pines and
into Crown King. In Crown King there are places to eat and have a
drink, and a general store that sells some excellent fudge.
There are campgrounds on top of the mountain near Crown King for those
wishing to stay overnight. The fastest way down is via the main road
which leads through Cleator and toward Bumble Bee. You can split off
and go through Cordes Junction, which will get you to the Freeway
quicker, or keep going strait and go through the little town of Bumble
Bee.
Alternatively, you can take the Senator Highway toward Prescott or
Mayer, this can be a very interesting trail during snow season. If you
have the time, follow Towers Mountain rd through Crown King and up to
the top of Towers Mountain, there are some excellent views and you can
join back up with the Senator Highway afterward.
Have fun, remember to bring water and your camera.
Enjoy, and remember to TREAD Lightly!

If someone makes contact with Smitty, maybe they can get him to
commit to being at Hunter's BBQ where he can likely distribute them
to everyone who wants one. Looks like this would be the best option
to get us all in the same spot at the same time and prevent him from
having to run all over Phoenix.

Howdy All:
I'm about to buy the parts for my '75 CJ5 exhaust. The exhaust
manifold appears to be just fine. Passing emissions is a
requirement. The question is - what would a complete list of parts
be for replacing my exhaust? (currently - there's some sort of
glass-pack and hose solution on there - not my invention)
Here's what i've got so far:
* exhaust manifold
* gasket from manifold to front pipe
* front pipe
* clamp for front pipe
* muffler
* clamp for muffler to tail pipe
* tail pipe
* hanger for tail pipe
* clamp for tail pipe hanger
Is this conclusive? The catalytic converter wasn't used on my
particular model. Are there any other things I should know about?
This is my first time replacing exhaust.
Thanks in advance!

<br>
This trail will take you into Martinez Canyon which has to be one of the most beautiful canyons in the area, in league with Sedona red bluffs!! <br>
<br>
You can have lunch under the Cottonwood trees at the old homestead and you may explore the old mill.<br>
<br>
Stock vehicle, stock tires and novice drivers, this would be a wonderful trail for you!!<br>

As for ease of steering and lower stress on the steering box, try to get you drag link as low to parallel as possible.

are in it as long as it is strong (because that is they're argument)
or ( as i've been told in other shops ) it should be a straight shot
to the drag link or else it puts too much pressure on your gear box.
For myself i kind of likend it to bench press pushing straight from

* exhaust manifold
* gasket from manifold to front pipe
* front pipe
* clamp for front pipe
* muffler
* clamp for muffler to tail pipe
* tail pipe
* hanger for tail pipe
* clamp for tail pipe hanger
Is this conclusive? The catalytic converter wasn't used on my
particular model. Are there any other things I should know about?
This is my first time replacing exhaust.
Thanks in advance!
