Does look really clean, but wouldn't be a good choice if you wanted a 4.0L....the front ends are too short in the '84/'85/'86 models (AMC did actually lengthen the front end to fit the 4.0L in).

the front end wasnt lenghtend so much as compressed. ive got a 84 and my friend has a 91 i looked to see what was different. its the rad support innerstructure and the rad location. its a lot of work but you can swap. if going to that much trouble just put a small block in it.
