I keep getting Digest 3886 in my inbox. I had like 40 of them when I
checked it this afternoon. They all say they came in at the same
time. I deleted them, but they keep coming back and now I can't
retreive any mail as it timeout's during the 4th of 7 messages it is
trying to download. 1 is that same digest, it says it can't retreive
numbers 2 and 3 then halts on 4. Anyone know what's up?
Thanks,

it need be.I only wish I could have been of some help the night of

sharky was very lucky to have lived through this to wheel again. A

Remember , B.F.Goodrich makes a 33x10.50 ( and you might also be able to
find some of the older style 33x9.50's ) which would be easier to stuff into
the wheel wells . Call Rick 'Beer' for more info . He is at the 4th ave and
Bell road Discount Tire store .
Hope this helps ,

Hi to all and thank you... Sharky is still holding steady he is
breathing on his own and his vital signs are good. They did a new CAT
scan this morning and not any better but not any worse ( that is good
news)as they are watching the swelling and so far have not had to do
anything drastic. He is fighting very hard you can see it.They are
getting very restrictive in the visitation ( they dont quite know
what to think of all the attention) By the way I know that there is
some question to what Shary's real name is .... Marc Kenner. They had
to put sharky on his chart as they were fielding calls and didn't
know who Sharky was...LOL... But they will... We have tried to warn
them that as he is more aware he will be more LIVELY shall we say
than they may be ready for.He is already showing them what I mean
today he has been more active than they were expecting . They told me
at least 3-4 days on the ventilator ... nope one... thats my Sharky!
I just hope they keep telling he CAN'T do something because he will
be more than happy to prove them wrong. I seem to be rambling
here...The kids and I came home about 10:30 or so and I have been
reading all your post... Sharky will be happy to hear that he took up
soooooo many pages... LOL... Roll bar padding ... call WestConnection
at 602-442-0855 this is also who did his bead=locks tell them your
with the group or meantion Sharky and he'll give you a great rate.
Please continue to write and call i get new strenth from you all as I
read your posts or talk to you on the phone or meet you in person....
Boy I am rambling...This post is all over the place...
I thank you all

I just got home from work, and was talking to one of my friends there at work.
She works for a company that does custom logo type stuff for business, Mugs, t-shirts, embroidery stuff, etc..
Well anyway I told her our situation and she would like to help.. I told her maybe if she could have some t-shirts printed with some sort of logo for this run " in honor of Sharky",
She said all we have to do is get a rough sketch or something and her graphic artist will take it from there.
My thought was to get these t-shirts done or anything else we might want, Key chains, hats etc.. and sell them to raise money at the run..
These would all be donated.**free to us** therefore ALL 100% of the proceeds can go directly to Shaky and family!
So my question is this.. would this be something that everyone would be interested in supporting? Also is there someone out there thats artistic and could come up with a rough Idea of what should be printed?
Let me know So I can call her and let her know when, what and how much we would like for her to donate.
Thanks a Bunch!!!

I was supposed to be in the jeep with Sharky when the accident happened
and had Stacey in a panic when she got the call about Sharky. She told
me she was worried and asking if they found me at the accident site! Not
to mention the house next door to Sharky's caught on fire so Stacey and
the kids were up all night. I know when Sharky comes through he will
laugh about that since it was the neighbor whose car he parked the
Mcwrangler on top of! I happened to have left earlier with Reno, but
Stacey didn't hear me when I picked up my car at Sharky's house. I
talked to her late last night and in the conversation she mentioned that
someone dropped off a dozen playstation games which I was happy to hear
about. I think it would be a good idea to maybe get some things together
for Dalton and Cassie to keep them busy while they are at home. It'll
help keep them busy and be one less thing for Stacey to worry about.
Stacey's trying to keep them from the hospital until Sharky's in better
shape to
keep from worrying them too much. If somebody can't make it to that
side of town, I live in Mesa and would be more than happy to be a
central collection point to get the stuff over to them. Sara's home all
day so if someone wants to drop anything off, there's someone home any
time. The meals and everything are a great idea -- just keep in mind
that Sharky's parents are there too. If anybody has any questions or
suggestions, drop me an email and we can make whatever arrangements we
need to.
Thanks!

Subject: [az_vjc] Update on Sharky's Jeep
Hi Gang,
We just got back from picking up Sharky's Jeep. a couple of things I
noticed right away:
1. The rollbar did it's job. Sharky's rig is incredibly good shape.
2. Ummmm. Sharky probably owes his life to Mike (RocRat) for
building such a sturdy cage.
3. The external cage protected Sharky's hood perfectly. hardly any
damage to the front of the Jeep.
4. Plenty of front axle type damage. it appears the rig may have
landed front tires first then rolled to the side.
5. I noticed some torn welds in places in the undercarriage, some
loose bolts in various places, and it looks like the body/frame may be
tweaked.
There are without a doubt some lessons for all of us to learn here.
whether it be how important it is to pad your rollbar, or the importance
of wearing at least a three point harness when moving faster than a rock
crawl or. well you get the idea.
I'd like to make one point here. and that is; let's learn our lessons
after Sharky is recovered and out of the woods. if we all focus our
energy on Sharky getting better; it will be the best for everyone.
After we are sure he is okay. we can change our rigs. discuss what
happened, and do our best to make sure that nothing like this happens to
any other members. The worst thing that could happen is if we walk away
from this without having learned something. but let's save the difficult
discussions for later.
Kind Regards,
Joe West
PS. I took lots of pictures, but would like to wait for authorization
from Mrs. Sharky before I post them.

I know Sharky would do it for us if we were in the same predicament

Subject: Start posting runs for any events you've proposed to help Sharky's Family
Hi Gang,
I see lots of good ideas being thrown out. now someone needs to take
ownership of the ideas and run with them.
If you've posted an idea for a car wash on the East side. post a run
called East Side Sharky Carwash so people can sign up. same for the West
Side, Scottsdale, etc.
If you posted the labor day run for Sharky. make a run for it so people
can sign up.
There are lots of good ideas. now let's put them down as runs and start
acting on them. Don't expect someone else to take ownership. do it
yourself. This group is so large that I think people sometimes throw
out ideas and forget that they actually have to take a leadership roll
to make it happen.
Let's go. enough words, lets see some finite details and some runs
posted. If you need some help, please contact me privately and I'll be
glad to assist.
Kind Regards,
Joe West

What if we all got together and had a bbq for sharky, maybe charge 5
bucks a plate or something like that, but not only open it up to the
club but to everyone(public). Possibly get it on the news if anyone
has any connections there. This would also promote the club alittle
bit and help sharky out in his time of need. It seems that Sharky
does a lot to help everyone out, Lets see if we can return the
favor. Thoughts? Comments? Suggestions?
I also like the Car Wash idea and I'd be willing to help out on the
west side after I get off of work this weekend, but do you think we
will get the turn out with this whole gas mess?
What do you guys think?

Subject: RE: labor day sharky run?

Kind Regards,
Joe West

Maybe a shark swimming in front of the AZVJC logo.
I will definitely support it.

Subject: Driving in Rain
OK hereis my question. It is raining and I know that is not anything new.
I have to go out and drive and I have not driven in the rain with my
Lock-Right in the rear axle. Should I take any different precautions when I
drive in the rain with the locker in the back?
Thanks

Be a bit more careful when taking off from a stop and slow down when turn
corners a bit more then usual should not be a big deal.

Subject: Sharky - Beneficial BBQ?

Group:
What comes to mind, and I am not a graphic artist is a AVJC logo with a
characterized Shark done up in McWrangler colors/face paint, etc.
jumping out of the logo or edge of it. Just tossing out an idea.
