Looks like there may not be much dust going up to Crown King this weekend.
I was looking at the weather radar and it looks like Black Canyon City and
Crown King got a fair amount of rain.

I know there is always talk about misting systems for the
Jeeps...well tonight I installed one in my TJ to test out and show
off at CK this week end for "MobileMist.com". After a quick install I
took the Jeep for a ride and so far Im VERY impressed with it, I was
not expecting to notice it much...wrong. We will see how it does at
CK this weekend and for anyone wanting to check it out look for my
rig Sat. This is as close as Ill get to having my A/C back :)

When I purchased my MT/Rs at Discount on Scottsdale and Oak, they
told me to keep my pressure at 30 lbs for road use.
Today, I had my tires rotated and wheels balanced and they tell me
they are now recommending 40 lbs due to discovered side wall wear in
all truck tires.
Does anybody know about this? Is this legitimate, or BS.

I pulled my carrier out of my D30 (had to due to gear ratio). On a
bench, it is sooo much easier. Like Reid said, I used a punch. Came
right out. Not including taking the carrier out, the job took about
15 minutes...

All I can say is that I run mine at 28 PSI around town. If I am doing a
road trip, I bump them up to about 30 PSI. I don't think I would get a
very good wear pattern by running a 12.5" tire on an 8" wide wheel with
40 PSI (excessive center tread wear).

Well, I probably would be going if you came and helped me finish installing my locker like you said you would! I would love to go except that my Jeep's up on jacks right now so it probably wouldn't make it to CK. Hard to roll without front tires.
This really sucks that I'm not going...I've been working my job and all my spare time has been shoveling 25 tons of rock to relandscape the yard. Everytime I pull in the garage my jeep sheds a tear knowing that I can't work in it...I think I'm getting too...<sniff sniff>...emotional right now...<sniff sniff>...to keep...<blows nose>...typing.
Oh, and no one is fat...only PHAT! Cause ya'all are da bomb!!! WORD TO YOUR MUTHA!!! bling bling in the crib...fo shizzle my nizzle and seezy to the neezy!
There, that's my Gangsta talk for now! You can learn too on www.rapdict.org.

That's my thought.
Now I have 10" on 7" wheels. They told me about infra-red something
or other showing wear patterns. I asked them about wear and gas
mileage. I think they might be paranoid about the heat issues in
Phoenix and all the roll over accidents...
Holly ****! I just thought my arcadia door was going blow in!

Well you really need to ramp the Jeep and get the compressed and
extended
measures that your individual Jeep needs.
If you're switching suspensions and lifts soon, why not just extend the
bumpstops enough such that you don't overcompress you existing shocks
anymore ??

he is really inexpensive compared to anyone else I have gone through in

I got one reply for a body shop to paint my doors and
haven't been able to locate him.
I have been getting prices of 300.00 per door to paint
them. I am buying the doors for around 500.00.
Does anyone have any ideas? Or a shop?
Thanks in advance!!

I'm about the same as Stu. Perhaps the higher pressure statement is a CYA

That's my thought.
Now I have 10" on 7" wheels. They told me about infra-red something
or other showing wear patterns. I asked them about wear and gas
mileage. I think they might be paranoid about the heat issues in
Phoenix and all the roll over accidents...

I have been getting prices of 300.00 per door to paint

I'm about the same as Stu. Perhaps the higher pressure statement is a CYA
