The C-clips weren't introduced to the D35 until about 1990. The 87 XJ
should not have C-clips.

I've seen more D44s on 87s than any other year, but I've never seen one
behind the 5 spd. The 5spd usually has a D35 with 3.07 gears.

I can sympathize with you, my brother. My nickname is 7 & 1/2, and it isn't because of my 3rd leg. Missing the two tips on my left hand, not because of what happened with the battery, but a 427 Chebby in a '66 Chevelle with a solid mount fan. That was WAAAAAY before they had stoopid stickers on the fan shroud! But now I can impress folks that think I am tickling my brain with 2 fingers in my nostrils. WTF...LMAO!

If you are going to trarler your Jeep, check the width between the fenders. I went full size with my junk, and realized that it wouldn't fit on the trailer with the 16" wide Boggers. I traded for a trailer with no sides, but had to build ramps over the fenders (AFTER I CHRUSHED THEM), so keep this in mind.

rioshilo <rioshilo@c...> wrote:I was wondering for those that went full width... does it have any

trails that you took before simply by taking different lines. What
is your width on the outside of the tires? I think I am going to end
up with 82".

I'm also considering converting the D60 rear to 5x5.5. It's a 1970
ford F/F D60 with 8lug. How is this done?

Thanks...

You can lay that on the drunken quad doods (last closure listed). A few broken bones, one or two deaths, and subdivision getting together and beyatchting about dust and screaming 8000 watt rap-crap will shut down a fun spot in no time. Jeeps don't make dust, do they?

All but 1 area was in Maricopa County. A lot of them are old but there
are 3 new ones from June 17, 2003 one has acreage of 35,832.96 and that

Sometime in the next few months, you'll be able to get them off of a
webpage. IBM has sent their proposal to the state land department and
it is
under review now. It is very likely that we (the azvjc) will get to
review
the website in beta form before it goes live.

Till then, you need to call or write the SLP office (I'm not sure the
number
or address) and request the permits. I don't know if Sandy or anyone
else
in the group sells them still... but they may. I'm sure your email will
bring Sandy out of the woodwork and she'll have all the information you
need.

Mike,

Mine, I think, were one of the first sets. I did not purchase these
flares. They were on the Jeep when I got it. The screws that they used had
plastic snap caps over plastic fittings that the screw fits through. Take a
look at
http://www.rockcrawler.com/techreports/bushwacker_TJ/display.asp?photo=misc_screws_etc.jpg
to see what I mean. The plastic caps routinely popped off. Also there were
no spacers installed between the flares and the body of the Jeep. This was
probably the fault of the original installer whoever that was. This caused
the screws to pull through the body of the flare. I also had a problem with
the nuts loosening up and the screws falling out. Bushwacker was great
about trying to help me. (BTW, I did not purchase these flares. They were
on the Jeep when I got it.) First they sent me a bunch of new caps. That
did not cut it. They then sent me a new mounting kit (I called this the fix
it kit in my first e-mail). It included new screws with larger washers,
spacers, and new rubber edging . This rubber edging had adhesive on one
side so that it would not slip out from between the flare and the body. I
did a couple of other things when I remounted the flares. One, I filled
many of the holes in the flare that were very worn with JB weld and then
redrilled them. Two, I added 1/2" rubber washers (standard faucet washers)
just under the metal washer to relieve stress on the holes as the flare
expanded and contracted or was stress when scrapped against a rock. This can
be seen at

Would this item work to replaced the Quadratrac vacuum e-switch
engagement ? Any opinions would be welcomed. I'd like to have
something more positive and reliable than the stock setup. I have the
part-time conversion now so the e-switch switch gets used frequently. I
got rid of the one in the glove box and replaced it with a Select-Trac

Look at the tiny coil sprung vehicle next to the leaf sprung vehicle.

Hi Everyone,
I have a stock 2002 sport, can I make it on the trail? From reading
some of these emails, it sounds as if I may not be able to. I have
signed up for the 8AM trip. I also have been on the Broken Arrow
trail without any problems. Let me know someone. Thanks, Mike

If it comes down to me having to wear a thong, forget it :>

I bought a 1999 TJ Sport that I need to baptize of road this weekend.

I have a 2" spacer lift, Powertrax Loc Rites front and back, swaybar
disconnects, and 31" BFG All Terrains.

I should be able to run trails rated around 3.0 or easier.

I ran it stock for a long time without any problems (except once when I
decided to follow the big boys and not take a bypass). However, you can
bypass all the tough stuff, and, frankly, the challenge of "the ledge" is
way overrated.

You shouldn't have any problems unless your name is Barry or sharky or Eddie.

Barry: broke ring gear
sharky: rolled jeep
Eddie: broke front drive line

Just having fun guys. You know yall are my boys, Big dawgs fo-life.

list LOL. I still cant believe someone can break a ring gear on
that trail! LOL thats funny coming from a guy who rolled huh
Barry :)

Anthony, why did you change times for Crown King?...I promise not to
slow ya down, if I roll you can keep going.

Sharky

Yahoo! Groups Service Changes
Update: To give users additional time to manage their files, Yahoo!
Groups service changes will now take place on August 21, 2003.

Yahoo! will be implementing service changes as part of our efforts to
ensure that all Yahoo! Groups members enjoy the same high-quality
service. A brief description of the changes appears below. They
include:

Add Members:
· Although there is no membership limit for your Yahoo! Groups, we
will be lowering the limits on use of the Add Members feature to 10
email addresses per day. If you need to add more than this, please
use the Invite Members feature. Learn more...

Messages:
· Yahoo! Groups will continue to deliver all attachments sent via
email, however, the attachments will no longer be archived in the
Messages area. You may continue to upload files and images in the
Files and Photos areas of your groups. Please re-upload any attached
files you would like to preserve to the Photos or Files areas of your
group. On August 21, all attachments in the Messages area will be
permanently removed, and Yahoo! will be unable to retrieve such data.
Please note: All of your group messages will remain. Only the
attachments will be deleted. Learn more...

Files/Photos
· A web membership to a group will be required to access the Files
and Photos areas for that particular group. Learn more...

Thank you for your support as we make these changes.
