Ok Pete should have the estimates for me today and I will
DEFINATLEY!!!!! Have them posted tonight I am sorry about the long wait.
Some of you asked for items painted but really didn't mention any colors
so hes is going to do his best with the estimates Also here is his
number Paint by Pete 623-386-7343 his wife will probably answer. I am
trying to work out a deal and him and I will discuss it today. So a
recap I didn't get all the colors that you wanted on you jeeps but he
will just assume you don't want nothing crazy except the 1993 Cherokee
that wanted the white with chipping to orange. I will get our ruff
figures posted on the boards tonight for the best6 estimate call him and
tell him exactly how big the sizes of the dings and dents are or just
bring the vehicle to him. If you take 1-10 towards Los Angels and go
south on miller road for 3 miles you will see his shop on the right.
Thanx for the support and hopefully we can get some good deals. If you
get a better offer somewhere else let me know and I will talk to him and
we can do something about it. Good luck and sorry for the long wait..
Partially my fault

Subject: [TR] Trip Report - Table Mesa Area - Saturday, July 26, 2003
Hello All,
Robert (Roy) Rogers lead a trail run Saturday, July 26, 2003 across Table Mesa Area
We wound up doing gas pipeline trail to Black Canyon City then a trail around the BCC hills and finally Trash Dump Hill (steep and loose climb). One jeep punctured the oil pan but was welded up in BCC (couple of P4W members live there) and another blew its rear drive shaft. That jeep and another truck were winched up a hill. I dented my crossmember and got home about 4AM. Long slow trip with 12 vehicles starting (2 AZVJC members dropped out at the start due to a flash flood warning), picked up another vehicle in BCC. Not a bad run. There is a certain hill outside BCC that I want to visit again, could not see it well that night and did not try it.
Whatever works for ya man, I have yet to see them on anything on the
trail (besides the fire ant) so I cant really judge too much, all I
know is I dont need to add anything that low to get me stuck, I do
that enough on my own;p so when I 4-link my Yj, the lowers will be
mounted at the axle centerline ;)

Pitman arm drop. And transfercase crossmember/skidplate drop, also
brake lines. And sway bar links. I just left my swaybar off...
If you want to do a really good job, get your spring perch angles
reset properly and also a CV driveline.
I had to get the CV driveline and perches angled on my CJ5, but you have
a longer driveline so transfercase drop and perch shimms, you maybe able
to get away with.
If you go with CV driveline, you wont need the skidplate/crossmember
drop. giving you more clearance under the belly.

You let her take a "Honda Pilot" to the Coves... is she still talking to you???? :-)
Hello All,
Steve Olney lead a trail run Sunday, July 27, 2003 across Coves of Saguaro Lake
Had lots of fun, Linda and her kids followed in her 2003 Honda pilot (my
daughter's little red wagon has better articulation) followed all the way to
cove 6.

Kids: Stephanie (5), Christina & Elizabeth (2), Megan (7), and Bradly (6)
played in relativly clear water chasing baby blue gills.

Trip was uneventful untill we tried leaving and (due largly to lack of
articulation) Honda had problems getting up first hill. Just when I thought it
was going to make it out, Bang!!! (sounded like I ran her car straight into
rock). Fortuneatly was just a blown tire. Unfortuneatly her spare was only a
donougt (no jelly).

With the donought on, we proceeded carefully out though Cottonwood camp (.23
mph) arriving at highway approx 6PM.

Linda lamented that Honda was inteded for "light off highway use". I told her
for a Jeep this is light use.

I got a flexin' rock for my front yard. It weighs over a ton (literally),
however it felt like more. The real mother was that after they dropped it
where I told them to and left, I decided I wanted it facing the other
direction. Oh well, nothing a Jeep and a tow strap can't fix, right? The
immovable object vs. the TJ. The TJ won, I got it right where I wanted it.
So if any west siders need to test their flex and can't find a ramp, drop by
and test out my big rock.
(BTW, with my low riding baby tired little TJ, I can only get up it on the
corner. I'll be happy when I get my lift and tires and can walk right up
the high part.)

recap I didn't get all the colors that you wanted on you jeeps but he
will just assume you don't want nothing crazy except the 1993 Cherokee
that wanted the white with chipping to orange.
