At 5pm on 10-04 I stumbled upon a virtual jeeper that is broke down, he told me his name on the site but now that i am in front of my computer i am not sure his name, i believe it is ShmUDE or sounds similar. Any way he is going to need a right front turning knuckle he has broken the wheel assembly off completely, and a right front brake hose to get him out of there without a flatbed. He had a cell phone and was in touch with someone but he asked me to post up on the site, so if anybody can help him out i am sure he will greatly appreciate it. I broke a torque side motor mount on the second hill i was playing on so i had to limp out as well.
He did have another jeeper and jeep with him, so he is not completely stranded but i am sure he doesnt want to leave his rig there. He is at the bottom about a mile upstream from the large play hill at the main road into the creek bottom.
Good luck and i will check on this thread a couple of times through out the evening and early morning if you need a good wrench in the morning i will be glad to help out.
Peace Out, Bustedknuckles

Everything is good. Just got home.
Bill brought his Super Duty, trailer and son, Ben. We met and headed over. We found Shmude after a little hunting.
He had a fun day. Pass side front axle shaft was sheared at the inner splines AND the out shaft. The knuckle was broken. By the time we arrived they had it all apart, had a nice campfire going, and set up a tarp as protection from the rain.
It took the better part of an hour to get it up onto the trailer in the pouring rain. We then headed out. They decided to take the Heep and trailer to Shmude's storage and leave it there.
Even given the weather it was a good recovery. Everyone was in a good mood, no one got hurt, and it got me out of the house. :D
I didn't take any pics but Bill did. I'm sure he'll post up later.

Nice job, once again, helping out a member in need! Sycamore, on a weekend, is absolutely not a place to leave your broken rig unattended. I heard about the breakdown from Lorin (Bustedknuckles5) when he called me to check in-home safe. He told me that while he was under his hood realizing the broken mount, ShmUDE actually stopped to make sure Lorin was ok even though he had already suffered the first half of his front axle damage. Then Lorin & family caught up to ShmUDE fully broke down on the way out. So, hat's off to you too, ShumUDE! Hope you get it fixed quickly without having to spend a lot. Looks like you had a couple of the best rescuers come get you.
Hey Lorin, I have a replacement motor mount for you. I'm running the 1" MML and I still have the original mounts in my box-o-parts. I think it's compatible so I'll bring it by in a little while.

Thanks for the offer for the mounts Dave, Monday at work I ordered a mount and i needed to do a ignition tune up as well so I ordered cap and rotor and plug wires, no plugs already installed them a few months back, and when I went up to the parts manager to pay for them he whispers to me "dont worry about it I buried the cost of the parts in with some other lot cars" but I am not suppose to tell anybody about that so Shhhhhhhhhhhhh.
L8rs all time to head to the shower then bed.
