8:00 AM DEPARTURE FROM GAS STATION OPPOSITE FORT McDOWELL CASINO ON THE BEELINE. I THINK IT IS A CHEVRON STATION.
Well, the summer rebuild is almost complete. Rebuilt suspension front & rear, and fixed leaks etc etc. I am looking to do Payette Draw on September 6th. I have never done this trail, and am looking forward to doing it. I need a leader, but would happily host, say 10 trucks. This run is the pre curser to the Rubicon the following week.

Has to be the 6th. I am working the next 2 weekends. Took today off, and FINALLY finished up all the repairs and upgrades. All ready to try to break again now.
On a diiferent note, I am putting together a trip next year. Starting the weekend after labour day for 2.5 weeks we will start at Fordyce Creek, then down to Rubicon then onto Moab, and onto Ouray and then home.
So far Myself, and my friend, Rick. I think I will cap it at 6 very capable trucks, with the mantra of noboby gets left behind. If anyone is Interested, I will start a new thread, and get this up & going. Put $50.00 a month away from know to departure, and it will take the sting out of the trip.

Mike, it looks like winches galore available for any trouble on the trail. I myself have a 10,500lb Milemarker Hydraulic. The weather should be spectacular up there. Just a heads up, my cruisin speed is 60mph..
All are welcome. I think we are at 7 trucks right know. 2 dropped out.
I will tally up tonight..

I never ran the draw before. Thanks for putting it together. Pretty good time with some reasonable carnage, alloy front axle u-joint(James had spare axle ready to go, nice), couple tires, I got some new BD and bent the **** out of my TXT front tie rod. Anybody have alumaflex and a rh & lh tread tap for 1 ton chevy tre's? I only took a few pics and will post up later.

Yep, great day. Here was the carnage tally for the day:
2 tires
1 axle shaft
1 rear drive line, promtly followed by shearing the front axle shaft on the four runner
flat battery
various body panels
Wasp sting leaving the trail..

Great group of people, a very fun day.

Thanks for organizing the trail run Nigel it was another great day of wheeling. Even though there was some carnage everyone was ready to help out and get the rigs back on track. We definatley had some entertainment that day.

The Draw can really leave you scarred if you are not paying attention. Let's run it again soon.
