Well, most of you know me, I have an 08 JK Wrangler X.
I was across the street at the neighbors house, and the rig was in my driveway not in the garage yet, when i came home, i moved into the garage and noticed that the top had leaked around the door seal. I checked the top to make sure I put it on right, since I was the last one to put it back up, and everything seems to be in right. We have the sun top, where the front half can come off with out taking the whole top down....
Now my question.....Is this a common occurrence with the soft top jeeps, or is there some sort of defect with my top? I know when we purchased it, the sales said that they had pulled the sun top back, and when they were getting it back on, they had some issues getting to sit right. They apparently did this in the middle of winter and from what I've gathered thats a BIG NO NO.
So.....Would it still be covered under warranty, if it is a defect and its not supposed to leak, or are SOL?
And is this normal? :confused:
