Anyone live near Thatcher?

The only wrecking yard in the entire state which has the rear axle assembly I need for my Comanche is in Thatcher. I live in Surprise,...nearly halfway to Wickenburg. With the price of gas, I'll end up spending as much to go get it as I would just to purchase it.

If you live near Thatcher (such as Safford), and are planning a trip into Phoenix, and if you have a pick-up in which to transport a rear end unit,...I'd like to throw $50 bucks at you for doing me the favor of meeting me with it in the NW valley somewhere.

I will see if you need this hauled next time I go down there. I grew up in Safford. Did you already pay for axle? My dad goes back and fourth quite a bit.

No I haven't paid for it yet.

Don't want to obligate myself for it unless I got a way to get it.

I emailed the wrecking yard to see if they ever send a truck to Phx., but I haven't got a response yet.

I never heard back from you so he didnt pick it up. Might be for the better he had truck problems, and made it to Globe and had to go back. Maybe he will come up next weekend.
