I want to say it's a 3/8 x 3" I think you can snag one from a radius arm without a problem.

Nuts are very cheap.. just buy one of each size you think it might be.. probably only run you about 1.00 or so... put it on in the parking lot and return the rest... ive done it before.... right before HD closed for the night.

I found the parts list on the interenet, it's detailed but doesn't say nut size, let me look at it again for bolt size, BRB

Copper state and some other stores sell thread guides...VERY handy for this sort of thing, theyre pennies. Of course it won't help you this exact second, but be prepared for next time
I have one like this on a brake cable http://www.dvorakmachine.com/photos/thread_gauge.jpg but True Value has them sitting on the shelf you could ask to borrow

If it is stock I believe it is 14mm. If you have longarm and it is the bolt that connects to the skid it is 9\16.

Not a bad idea to have a spare for all your critical nuts and bolts. Also know where on your jeep you can rob one in an emergency. :D

I too carry a bunch of spare nuts and bolts among other things. My problem though is I carry all that stuff in my assortment of cases I load into my Jeep when I wheel. I unload all that junk when I run my Jeep on the street. It's pretty sad, I have enough spare junk to rebuild a Jeep when I'm on the trail but I don't carry anything on the road. If I were to get a flat on the side of the road I'd have to wait for AAA since I don't carry a jack, or even a lug wrench for that matter. :)

If you have the tools to put the new nut back on then you can take off a nut on the other side and get one like it....

For future...just call the RE guys on the 800 line. They are VERY helpful and VERY friendly.
I had the same question about several bolts. I bought my kit from a private owner, didn't get all the parts and they were more than willing to answer every annoying question. They also sent me some parts that were missing, even knowing didn't purchase retail...
