If any one has either of these two refridgerants, please contact me. My vehicle is old and I don't want to do the conversion. I'll need about 4 pounds.
Thanks

what type of vehicle?
I have changed several over to 134... all you need is connection adapters, blow as much of r12 oil out as can (too thin for 134), add 134 oil and 134 (if you dont have vacum, best with a can of moisture remover). 134 will slowly leak out (unless you have bad hoses which would leak r12 too) because molecular structure is smaller than r12 (which is why "proper" retrofit includes replacing all hoses with "barrier" (non barrier no longer sold) hoses. Worst case (assuming good hoses) might have to add can towards end of summer. Technically, if you use freeze12, you are supposed to evacuate system too and use just fr12 (not mix with r12)

I called my local Checker but no luck on the freeze 12. I'll try the main warehouse.
The vehicle is a 1976 Mercedes 300D. I'm running it on used vegetable oil, by the way.
I would like to find some R12 if I can. Trying to retrofit this system is not too easy!

Try Aapak that is where I used to get it from. I am not sure if the one in tempe is still open. I might have a can of it at work. I thought I say someone selling tank of it while ago on some forum. I will see if I can find it.

Check out these people...http://www.autofrost.com/
They're what I used on my 89 XJ, when I had it, because 134 just didn't cool it. It cooled like it was running R12 again. In fact I still have 3 cans in the shed if you need them, but I live in Casa Grande.
