I've used my Harbor Freight specials (regular Torx style) many times without breaking/spinning any of them. Most recently I also used them to remove my stock roll-bar while building a new cage. Trust me, my 15 yr old fasteners were plently tight, covered with carpet glue, dirt, rust and who knows what.
I did have trouble trying to loosen them with a manual wrench/breaker bar. Eventually just put the HF Special Torx Bits on the end of the air impact gun and the bolts came right out. If you can get access to an air gun, that might do the trick for you.
Good luck,

I have the RE1807 slip yoke eliminator kit for sale. This is the cut and tap style kit, it is new and complete in original box. I also have the RE1898/165 Spicer CV driveshaft that works with the SYE kit, also complete and new in the original box. You need to do the rear driveshaft measurement to see if this will work on your jeep. I have a 1999 TJ with a D44 rear and a manual trans, my rear shaft measurement center to center of the u-joints is about 11.5". If your application is the same or your measurement is the same chances are this will work for you. Last is the Transfer case lowering kit RE2100 for TJs, pretty self explanitory. Retail for all this would be about $380.00. I did move to Texas and wont be back to visit AZ for a couple of months so you will need to have it shipped, which you would have to do if you bought it from Rubicon anyway. If you are interested in seperate items: SYE $85, CV driveshaft$205, Tcase kit $20.00

Just FYI. RE isn't pricing their lift kits with shocks any more. So the
prices on their site are less the shocks. Be sure to keep this in mind when
looking at pricing on RE's site and comparing that to prices you get other
places. Other places may include the shocks. I'm not saying RE is trying
to hide anything. On the contrary....they now have a GREAT selection to
choose from. They used to only have Deutsch Tech Shocks. Now they have
nearly everything under the sun for shocks. But the pricing is all varied.

i am a new member as of monday this week..
i own a sand rail and run 8 kc lights and 2 electric fans this is how i
did my power box.
I purchased a small power panel box like on a house from home depot,(they
are gasketed to keep water out) then i bought several fused power strips
from radio shack and mounted them inside with a blade style fuse block,
then where the wires come through the box i bought water tight electrical
connectors and heat shrinked the wires coming through for a nice tight
fit, also i ran 4 gauge wire from battery and used rubber grommets to
keep it sealed water tight.
good luck

Narrow track model 20 rear. Mosser one piece alloy shafts. New shaft bearings and seals. 3.54 gears, no locker. Mosser shafts alone cost $300 so this would be a good deal for a narrow track CJ owner looking to upgrade to one piece shafts.

Yeah, didn't you hear? The Sierra club pooled their money and bought
Arizona. We've all had to trade our Jeeps in for Honda CR-V's. We now
do our off-roading in the mall parking lot. Some of those speed bumps
are pretty nasty.

I am going to list on ebay if no one shows interest. Is located in Chandler AZ and figured one of you would probably be interested. Here's the stats...D27 w/ 3.73 F/R, rear locked, WARN Overdrive XFer case, Twin Stick standard Xfer case, Heavy Duty rear drive shaft new from Dicks Drive Shaft, Saginaw Power Steering conversion, V6 engine, has 33" tires, will fit 35's, 60% tread left, soft top/door complete, 2 bikini tops, windshield has one crack on p-side, WARN 6,000 LBS Winch, needs hook attached, controls to driver, from winch, or under P-side hood, new brake calipers/shoes on front, have calipers for back.
Is NOT a looker....Problems Include: Steering issues, leaks oil, has crack along very bottom of engine, however, even when hot does not leak oil from crack. I believe the crack was from water freezing inside block. Call/email with questions.
Thanks

When replacing an exhaust manifold, is it ok to reuse the bolts
that attach it to the head or should you install new bolts?

Price: $300.00/obo

I purchased a small power panel box like on a house from home depot,(they
are gasketed to keep water out) then i bought several fused power strips
from radio shack and mounted them inside with a blade style fuse block,
then where the wires come through the box i bought water tight electrical
connectors and heat shrinked the wires coming through for a nice tight
fit, also i ran 4 gauge wire from battery and used rubber grommets to
keep it sealed water tight.
good luck
Craig

Not sure of the years, but you probably have a vacuum actuator. Many replace
that side with a one piece shaft, and loose the actuator.
I'm sure some YJ experts will pipe up and help you out.
