G'day, thought that I'd do the right thing and say hello.
so, Hello...
I followed aussie_ian over.... was a long swim.. lol.
I've been listening to Ian talk about you guys, and after checking out your site, have to say I love it.
I have a 97TJ with a few mods, and love to get out wheelin at least twice a month. My wife is my number one spotter, navigator, rock stacker, beer passer and photographer...
Anyway, looking forward to meeting more Jeepers!!

Because we have taste! lol.
Me personally, always been a Jeep guy. Think it was too many episodes of M*A*S*H or something.
Built TJ 25K, offroad ability, character-history, more parts availablity. I like fixing things and burning lots of cash!

Yep, sure is a beautifull spot.
The cherry Venture (the old ship in the pic) has now been crushed and buried. Which sucks because it had a good story behind it and was an icon.
Apparently the local authorities deemed it to unsafe.:pile::pile:

You guys have so many trails with rocks, makes me jealous!
Your Jeeps are very similar to what we have here, (except the wheels n the wrong side).
The main difference I guess is that tyres over 35" area lot more common for you.
In most stated in Australia, anything over 33" is way illegal.
Also we have to have the entire tyre covered, i.e. big *** flares. (no flat fenders :(.......)
Very rare to find a Jeep that is trailered, unless it's a comp rig. Most of the places we wheel require that the Jeep be fully road registered.
And we can't "carry" on the trails. (fire arms are pretty much illegal, unless you have a permit for use as a farmer etc...)
Shame, it would be a quick way to deflate your mates tyres!!..

Flipped a pic in Photoshop so I can wheel on the wrong side too!
PS -- running an ARB OME 2.5" HD lift kit and lov'n it!

Hey Ian,
No mud, that makes them lucky I reckon.... hate the stuff.
Heep's back a Driveline Services.....
New front shaft. Saturday nights hijinks (Rum and big downhill tracks don't mix...lol) Double carden shagged, mud and overstretching seems to be the culprits..
