I have new lower gears I need to get installed in my 2000 WJ (30/44hd axles--currently 3.73) and was wondering where to go for the install. It would be nice not to pay much more than $250/axle for labor (I have all the parts needed). Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

4 Wheelers or Joe Daro at Absolute Offroad. There is another fellow who does it and he does it at your location as I understand. Some of the folks will know who I am talking about, I remember his name or number, but he has a longtime rep for gear work in the valley.

I had great luck at 4 Wheeler's Supply... I don't know if they are backed up or not, but they have great prices and excellent service.

We can help, just remember good work is not cheap and cheap work is not good. Our gear guy has been here since the 50's!

I usually do my own but this time I'm gonna let Desert Fab do them. Too much hastle to lineup all the tools for just one set of gears (i'm only doing the rear)
I'll let you know how they turn out :)
