OK the steel diff cover on my ford 8.8 bottom edge is rolled up and it is pretty bad. It will not hold a seal for sh1t. It is to jacked to pound back to shape.
The question is where can I get a good deal on a new cover? If I need to buy want to upgrade what best bang for the buck? Or does anyone have a good one laying around that I could steal/use/donated to my cause.
Thanks

Do you have a an armor cover like a warn?
I would remove the stock cover and pound it out, then get a warn diff cover and attach them at the same time.
That cover will protect the lip and ad some solid diff protection. This is what I did.

The stock cover is not worth keeping, it's to thin.
This is what I'm running on my 8.8.

Its beefy and has taken some hard hits without any issues.

No armor It would be a bish/impossible to pound out. It is really bad thats why it isnt keeping a seal. I dont want to pay an arm and a leg for a diff cover and armor

Check with the local guys first but if you don't find what you want, here's an option:
I bought a RockCrusher 8.8 Diff Cover and it's pretty beefy. Paid $85 plus shipping from Motion Offroad and got it in about a week. I read about some controversy regarding shipping delays, etc. but just called to confirm they had it in stock prior to ordering.

Alloy USA, Solid Ind, or Dynatrac would be my suggestion.
