My manual doesn't mention the factory roof rack. I'm trying to get the bars that run side to side off my roof. I've found the screws that enable me to remove the bar, but I need to get the part that slides off. The rails that are fastened to the roof have end caps, these caps are what I need to take off to remove sliders. ok, so how do these come off? they are loose but I can't see what it is that is holding them tight to rail. help!!!!!! what's the trick?
