Does anyone know where I might be able to take my LJ and have someone tell me what I have? (axles, lift, etc.) I bought it from a Toyota dealership and they are definitely not Jeep experts.
Thanks.

Any fab shop that work with jeeps will be able to tell you. Any of the forum sponsors with shops would help you out. Where are you at so we can decide which shop is close?

Thanks Cole. I may stop by next time I drive it to work. 35th St. and Washington isn't too far from where I work. Should I ask for anyone in particular?

Well...not very many shops around there as far as forum sponsors. Hunters shop is in tempe, he might be able to help you out. As far as non-sponsors there are a couple of 4 wheels parts and desert rat shops around.

I feel that your best bet would be to take it by four wheelers supply, those guys are great at what they do. I wish they had a shop close to me.

It really should not be that hard to figure out! If your jeep is slightly modified it has 3.73 axle ratio and a rear D44 with disk brakes and trac lok with a open D30 in the front if it NOT a Rubicon. It should also have the NP231 transfercase 2.72:1 ratio.
I have the exact same Jeep, at least when it was new:D

I agree with Jason. If you spend a little time looking into it, you will learn a lot more about your Jeep than if someone tells you what you have. If you have specific questions about how to figure stuff out, post them up here. Also, post up pics if you need a visual confirmation.
