do not go out there this time of the year. the gnats were just completely horrible my body was just covered in them. we ran tax collector and firebird for a warmup then proceeded on to ruler then halfway through the trail my buddy snapped his rear driveshaft clean at welds. then i had to go above on the side of the trail to winch him up and then i sliced a sidewall. it was so miserable out there with the gnats. plus the carnage didn't help. wait till it gets to about 110 and fries all those gnats.:mad: oh and sorry no pics of carnage too pissed off with the gnats.

YEAH! The flies and bugs n no see-ums were all over on the Fundraiser runs...time for night runs...sorry bout the carnage...gotta pay to play.

carnage i wasn't mad at it was the bugs while doing everything to get out of there was the problem. it wasn't this bad last year at this time. i guess with all the rain thats why. hey when are we going to wheel again brad? do i need to take a monday or tuesday off?

Yep, May is gnat season. Next month will be fine. They are at TM too.

They are just about everywhere. As things dry up they congregate and you are a source of water they need weather it be sweat or blood, they sometimes start biting pretty bad. I think these are in the black fly family.

Yeah it was bad when we were at the whitetanks. Bug spray does nothing for the gnats too. They just seem to be really friendly:)

There were tons of them when we ran Martinez Cabin and Mine this weekend. Was really annoying.
