I'm going to replace my stock wheels on my 98 xj so I can fit the 33" BFG's I just got. I am looking for 15x8 with 3.75 back space. Any recomendations on brands and places to buy.

I'd get some cheap steel wheels. I think mine were like $40 or $50 each. They are just plain D-window, black steelies. They have lasted a few years, and I was never afraid to mess one up because they are cheap to replace.

I like aluminum. Lighter weight by a bunch. Discount tires sells them, as well as tires with certs, which you will need if you wheel a lot.

03 - 06 Rubicon wheels look great on XJ's and can sometimes be found for a reasonable price.

Wrong backspacing though. But they do look good.

I like the black steel wheels. I do like the fact that aluminum is lighter though. Decisions decisions......

I've got some new (never used) 15x8 black steel street locks (5x4.5 w/ 3.75" backspacing) that are just sitting in my garage. Make an offer if you want 'em.

Holy cow! I hope you are running some 14.50 wide tires on those rock anchors. Or sand paddles in the dunes.
