jeep meet and greet

I need some help! I went to Hooters in Mesa I 60 and power for a 4x4 show (it is on the 1 and 3 thursdays) and I was the only jeep, they made fun of my jeep so if everyone can show up on the next show may 15 we could use this as a meet and greet and no one will make fun of our jeeps I think it it from 6:00 to 10:00

Now my question is. Of those dudes making fun of your jeep, how many of them actually wheel? Are they all those big show trucks with like 20" of lift that dont have a single scratch on the body and no dirt on the under carriage? I say next time they make fun, invite them to run the most complicated trail yer jeep can handle. See how many of them can keep up. I bet you could make atleast one of them cry. heh :cool:

I work the next couple Tuesdays/Thursdays but I will gladly go when I have the next one off.

What kind of 4x4s were they? X-terras, Compass, SUVs or Fullsize pickups? I like the comment about fresh paint. Did it look like a Checker Auto Parts/Autozone threw up all over their trucks? :D ;) Or where they the home fabbed buggy groups?

most of the people are great to be with and they do go out on the trail but others dont, the k5 guys dont think that jeeps can 4 wheel other than at the mall they do give prizes for thing like highest lift best parking job (on top of your buddys tire ect.) dirtyest, best dents

I went to this redneck fest last night and the only jeeps i saw was a rubicon on chrome rims and a yj with a v8 that didnt look like it has seen many trails. It was pretty much a bunch of rednecks stacking and standing on the the roofs of their trucks. Best part of the night was finding out that the KirispyKream just open back up mmmmm.

Get more organized for another one, plan with more time to get more people and go take it over. If we can get a good amount of VJC members to attend I will be there.
