Can't make it this weekend... family stuff, but would love to go another time. How often do you do these? What kind of equipment is needed (lift, tires, winch, etc.)?

We typically invite customers who buy jeeps from us. Sometimes I might post up if we have additional space for more Jeeps. I planned this trip late with very little notice. So far this has been a quartly event followed with Jeep Jam in October.

Most of our runs a stock Jk with 32's and a rear traction device will work fine. We really do not want customers to damage a new jeep!

it sounds like a great trip; however, i need to ask a true newbie question....how do i know if i have articulation???? i have a 2001 wrangler 4.0 with 33's and skid plates. so i meet that criteria. wanting to get some runs under my belt and would love to do this run. if you have space for a newbie.....count me in...i will pm you....:rolleyes:

Rich I have limits to how many Jeeps that I can lead and enjoy the trip without it becoming a traffic jam. The first spots are always reserved for our Jeep cutsomers and then I invite anyone else that may want to join in.

From past experience 15 Jeeps Max is all I can handle with out the trip becoming "Work";)

Rich, you are right these runs are cool. I had spots left because i sent an email out 7 days before the trip! I mostly send emails out 45 days prior to the trip!!

Wild Mustang. I will be at the McDonalds at Carefree and I 17 at seven am. I will be on cb Channel 4. I estimate it will take just over two hours to get there. I will leave at 7:10 if I don't see you. I drive a green TJ with a jeep club sticker on the drivers side.

clay i will be there..i am driving a white 2001 wrangler w/33's a vjc sticker on the driver's side of the body...of course the top will be down..

last time i was on the carefree hwy it was majorly restricted due to construction...most likely i will go north on 1-17 and get off at that exit to meet you...see you in the am

thanks for the update...i was on the carefree hwy coming from cave creek rd to 1-17 on a sat am and it was a mess....no construction going on...just all the restrictions/etc....everyone was moving so slow, took almost an hour to get to 1-17...and with all the barriers, no where to pull a u turn to get out of the mess....i seriously considered doing some "off road" through the walkways and plantings on the side of the road...but i (for once) was a good girl and just waited it out...
