Can anyone here weld aluminum???

Okay... kinda jeep related as this is for my tow rig : ) ... Long story short, dodge did a dumb thing with their intakes. They sealed the bottom of the aluminum intake with a steel plate. That does not work so well and it causes all sorts of problems when it starts leaking. So... the big fix is to buy a $100 aluminum plate and bolt it on in place. Well... Turtle is C H E A P! So... I am wondering if anyone here would be able to weld an aluminum plate to the bottom of my aluminum intake for me?? PM me if you have the capability of welding aluminum and might be interested in helpin' me and we can talk more!!

I have a 360 gas 2500 4x4 and have heard of the problem, I thought there were other cheap ways to fix it??
