Just wanted to finally say Hey,
Been on the site for about a week, pretty interesting so far. Just took a few pics of the new jeep at Butcher Jones, I recently upgraded from a 87 YJ to the new 08 JK Rubicon. Its still stock and will probably remain that way until I save up again. But having fun with the new features on the Rubicon.
Not sure how to post pics but we will give this a try

Just went out to Butcher Jones for the day, made it to the first 3 coves. My old jeep is in the background of one of the pictures white 87 YJ. Sold it to my brother. Stock or not I bought the Rubicon to go off road.

Sorry... should have read your first post :stupid: Were you able to do everything on that trail stock? I am trying to remember if the back road to Crown King can be done stock? I know there are a lot of shoots off the trail that can be challenging...

I didn't have any problems, but then again I didn't go over any areas were I thought I would have clearance issues. Still the factory 32's, I did scrape once for a second, just caught the rock rails. The disconnecting front sway bar helps out alot with the front end.

Welcome "Guide to Arizona Backroads & 4-Wheel Drive Trails" by Charles Wells and "Backcountry Adventures Arizona" by Peter Massey and Jeanne Wilson I bought both of these used on Amazon and have enjoyed them. Wells book is broken down into 10 areas while the Massey book into 4 Regions, for this reason Wells is better for planning for specific destinations. Happy Trails
