it's really not rocket science:
most important: load of sand
dig out where you are going to put pavers 2-3" lower than base of pavers
line trough with 2x4's set in with stakes (use level to make sure straight/leve)
fill trough with sand, compact
drag another 2x4 across (using 1st set as rails to drag on); if you want even more "perfect", notch 2x4 so will drag about 1" deeper than rails
this will give level form to set pavers in
brush pavers with sand, wash, repeat
