Hello Folks,

Its appears that there is alot of interest in doing a Canyon De Chelly trip, but no one has the time to take the lead. I do have some spare time to do the leg work, just need to know how many people are trully interested. (Hopefully this works) I set up a pole to see how many people want to go and when.

Take a look at this site: http://www.canyondechellytours.com/index.html#trips
It looks to me like it costs about $100 per Jeep/ per Day, plus food and expenses. I will call them to confirm the price and to see if we can get a group discount.

I agree. It is probably gonna be a costly trip as well, missing work, paying the guide, GAS at 3.50 a freakin gallon!! etc. So that would give us more time to plan for it.

Your right on with this trip being costly! As previously discussed you likely have 1 night in a hotel too, Chinle,az is a 4-5 drive each way! We may throw this trip into next year. I am est this trip will cost $350 a person with Guide, lunch, hotel and gas.....OUCH. I spent $500 to go to Moab for a week so I am finding it hard to justify this.
