View Full Version : anyone wanna trade tires?

I have a set of 5 BFG 31/10.5/15's that have about 80% of their tread left. All have been highway miles. I bought new rims and tires for the GF's jeep, thinking they would work on my stock 89 Cherokee I kept them. To my surprise 31's wont work, anyway if anyone has a set of all terrains or mtrs or something that will fit and want to swap then send me a message at circle7ring3@hotmail.com The tires are mounted on 02 Sahara wheels that are in excellent shape so if you want to trade wheels and tires that would be cool too. I am not too picky about wheels for the XJ as it is just a desert beater.

so tempting.....but I just pulled the 31's off to put on 30's for better mpg's....let me talk to the wife since it is her jeep....

sounds good, what kind of rims does she have? the rims that are on them are the "nicer" stock rims, there are 5 of them also. They really look great.......

They are 30x9.5 Liberator all terrains with around 80-90% tread. The main downside to them is they sat outside for over a year. I only have 4, so I only would need 4.

oh yeah those bad boys have been hit good by the ole AZ sun, I would happily go 4 for 4 but I dont know how long those would last. I defiantly dont want to be changing tires on the side of the road

If you want to take a look at them you can, I am off of Bell and 51st ave (next door to Harbor Freight). I only put them back on for better mpg's because I originally had 31's on it, but they are load range D or E. So they are a lot heavier, and then I took those and put them on my XJ because I had 32's on it which were even heavier. A lot of tire swapping around my house, now i am thinking about picking up a cheap set of 35's ATs for my TJ so I can use it more for a DD...Too many Jeeps :)
