Finally got the dirt bike running!!!!! Been thinking of places to ride other than the back alley:) So far I've thought about the gravel road going to Four Peaks, or the desert around the motocross track in Apache Junction/Mesa. Any other ideas of good places to ride?

4 peaks road is a mess on the weekends. lots of people going lots of different speeds, makes a recipe for disaster.

how confident are you on the bike?
the desert around ET mx track in AJ is kind of off limits. even though it gets ridden a lot.

take your state land permit to mile marker 204 in the 60, right by the renisance fair area. very easy riding to get back into riding.

if you want something harder, head over to thumpertalk dot com and the southwest section is mostly phoenix people. I'm navynuke over there.

just don't want you to get a big nasty ticket for riding someplace you shouldn't

Thanks for the info!! Took it up on a short trip to Tortilla Flat and rode around some of the dirt roads, etc. Lots of fun :) Top speed is 45 at 8000 rpm lol.

Get a state trust land permit and check out MM 11.5 near Lake Pleasant. Lots of good single track out there.
