Good news. I'm flying out on the 20th for an interview on Monday.
The company is in Chandler.

Everybody please wish me luck on a successful interview and ultimately a job offer. This would be a great thing to happen for me and my family.

Thanks for everybody's input. You guys are great.:D

If this pans out I'll be going to the next meetup!

Well it didn't turn out that good. They ended changing the salary on me to a figure that I couldn't afford to take.

I had a phone interview on Thursday with a different company. It went extremely well and I was confident they would want to do a face to face.
I found out today that they went with someone else. I can say that I was surprised considering how well the phone interview went.

Oh well, I'll just keep on applying.

Well I flew out a few weeks ago for another interview and was offered and accepted the position. They gave me 3 weeks to start.
So I left from Philly to Phoenix on Sunday the 15th and got here late Tuesday morning. :drummer:

Now for the sad part....the Friday before I left I T-boned a lady with my Jeep.
So my Jeep is at the auto body shop back in PA. Good thing is my wife and daughter are still back in PA and won't be out until August. So my father will drive my Jeep out here for me.

For now I'm stuck driving a Saturn.

Congrats and welcome (back) to AZ!!!

Assuming you are in the east valley, and since you have no Jeep to wheel, why don't you come to the Chandler M&G (http://www.virtualjeepclub.com/showthread.php?t=34495&highlight=chandler) this Saturday evening and say hello!

I might do that. I have my 4 year old son out with me now so it would have to be "family friendly". :pinch: haha

The Jeep show will be in the parking lot and most certainly child friendly. Under 21 are allowed inside until 10pm and even after 10 with a parent, but I suppose you'll want him home in bed by then anyway. Hope to see you both there.

Music doesn't start until 9 so anyone can go inside for food, refreshments, AC, watch sports, etc. during the Jeep Show.
