the boy will not be home next weekend so the 19th works best for us.

Post up if you can attend.

Not doing Table Mesa due to logistics and distance. Was out there with the wife and we picked up a bunch of trash on Sunday. Since there aren't many suggestions, I'm going to lead on the trail I have the most experience running so we have a safe and fun time with the boys.

TRAIL: Upper Woodpecker

RALLY POINT: Shell gas station off the US 60 in Gold Canyon (pass through Mesa - when 60 starts having stop lights it is there on the left)

RALLY TIME: 0900 leaving PROMPTLY at 0915

AIR DOWN SPOT: Cottonwood Canyon Road off of the 79 in Florence (look for flagpole) hit the trail by 1000 hopefully at the latest

NP just have her bring some pics over and pick up a 10 or 15 buck scrapbook at target - I've got all the paper she could ever use! :D East valley run would be easier so you could drop her off with me (I'll run up to the meet spot to make it easier) - but you boys decide what you want to do!

Good thinking! Why don't you come out to TM and cleanup in the morning, then do the father/son run after that? Without the cleanups, there would be no trails to run with your son.

I'm in for the run if it is still a go! Just got a Cherokee that is semi ready to wheel. I'll have to stay off the stupid pedal with 35" tires and stock axles. Looking to change that.

My son and I are a tenative pending the repairs getting completed before the trip. I've never done Elvis, but it looks like fun. There's always Martinez Canyon.
Seening that I've never been on a Club Run and the fact that this is a "guys trip"..........are there any rules about bringing along a few "toys" to shoot. Obviously, this would happen only if everyone approved and the timeing was right (safety).

Yes, this will still go on. We didn't have internet over the end of last week and I've been trying to stay out of this thread so Ben can run it. He'll be on this afternoon and will update with the final information for the run. I assume it will be out in FJ with a meet up around 0900 (to allow for those coming from the other side of town) at the shell station off the 60 in Gold Canyon.

I have no problem at all with shooting as long as we find a good safe place. I'll bring a bunch of ear plugs for the boys.

Yes it's still happening. I don't know Elvis or Martinez Cabins enough to lead it,but if anyone does then feel free to lead. I do know Hackberry or Upper Woodpecker which are both good trails, I don't know how much of Hackberry is left though. So saturday the 19th we are going to run one of the four just let me know guys what sounds good.

Sorry guys, I had to run around and work on the Jeep all day, I guess that is what happens when you think you have everything ready to go for a weekend. With all the gas I burned I decided to stay on this side of valley and run scorpion with some of the West side guys. Still taking the son, but since its 12:30 am right now I thought I'd get a little more sleep and stay on this side....I wonder how much of this is making sense, Just finished mounting a set of 33's so I don't tear off a bushwacker fender flare with the 35's.

Still going to the gas station at 0900. If I am still the only one there at 0930 the boy and I are going off on our own. If you weren't going because of the trail, we can pick something else there - I just don't want to let my boy down. He's been excited about this for 2 weeks.

Wish we could have made it. Kirk's T-Ball game was mis-scheduled and he didn't have a game after all. Bummer. Hopefully we'll see you guys again soon on a Sunday run.
