just wanted to say thanks to all who came out and helped it was a very good try at a very big problem i have another one in the works for october hopfully with stl aprovel. you guys helped out this newbie alot i will post the pictures as soon as i get all the cameras toghether.once again thanks

actually someone else draged it out off there but i heard probable cause put a huge rock in it;s place dont be to upset it did clean up the place and the guy did break his winch cable putting the rock there for us to have a nice challange thanks to all.:)

what?? you guys took out the car???????? you guys pulled the landmark of firebird!! lol wow i'm sure theres gonna be more drama over this one. i personally am disappointed in the removal of that specific car! good job on the rest of the clean up though

Sucks about the firebird bein' taken out, but in reality its a good thing : ) If you are going to clean up, you might as well clean it ALL up! Glad its gone though!

we had a total of 5 cars and 1 boat yes a boat and to the guy in the crawler who draged the boat next time you bring a boat you better bring it on a boat trailer lol thanks a lot guys:)

I will ask though, WHY did you take out the firebird? Did you realize it is the trails namesake?

yes i'm the one that pulled the firebird out. i will post pictures or better yet you can go to azvirtualjeepclub.com and look at the pics under land use. somebody moved the firebird out of the way so it was no longer an obstacle it just sat on the side of the trail looking like Sh$%. if you have any gripes, complains, come to me and not the people in the picture i take full responsibility for it. if it was still part of the obstacle i would have left it in place.

I was not aware it was moved, it has been forever since I was out there. With that info, I say kudos to you. If it was just sitting there like junk then it only becomes fodder for the greenies. You aren't the one that broke your winch are you PC? :eek:

The firebird was getting moved to the left by people trying to bypass around it on the right. Some went over it (can you say POP!) and there was a good line to the left. Even this line to the left was getting eroded by spinning tires and relocated rocks from folks not knowing how to get past.

While it was a namesake, it was still trash. Anyplace else in WTs it would have been an eyesore. Thanks for taking the time to move it -a TOUGH call to make but hey... he made up for it by installing a new rock to play on! :laugh2:

yeah it was me my cable snapped while moving that big boulder into place where the car use to be the boulder was between firebird and ruler on the exit to the east. there's still a bypass there but it makes it a little more difficult.

no i didn't remove the gatekeeper rocks it's off to the side it was not on the ruler trail whatsoever. look at the picture on azvirtualjeepclub u can see rock was off to the side
