I'd love to see how long a d35 will last with that. :)

I have seen them first person. My friend and I went out to play in the show last winter. We fought through 2-3 feet of snow trying to get to the top of the Pinal Mountains outside of Globe. We got near the top and turned back. We pulled off the road to eat lunch. After a few minutes, we started hearing what sounded like a race car coming up the mountain. A built CJ flew by on those tracks. He saw us and backed down the road to yell at us, "If y'all had a real Jeep you could get the the top!" He then laughed like a mad man and stomped on the gas--a rooster tail of snow flew higher than his Jeep as he sped off.

I'll look for the pics I took of him.

Snow, and possibly sand only folks. Rocks especially AZ rocks would end their day early!!

You can check out these tracks at http://www.mattracks.com/ they work real good in sand and snow but also work on rocks and in mud. they are pricey.

FYI, they cost about $25K-$30K for a set of four.

Lots of pics in the thread below. This guy said he got his for $900. I think they are pretty old, but that's dang cheap!

My argument is that for nearly the same price of Mattracks, you can buy a tracked military vehicle like a BV-206 SUSV (http://images.google.com/images?hl=en&q=Bv-206+susv&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=wi)
