Trying to adjust Zonabluemoon's driver seat. The thing has refused to slide in or out for over a year. Finally got it to make a clicking noise, but no front or back action and no catching. Any suggestions?

White Lithium Grease. Spray down all the working parts;it fixed my seat problems.

Make sure the lever is dis-engaging BOTH of the rack latches/pawls when you pull on the adj. lever... If it's unlatching, then inspect for debris, having been caught in the sliders, or corrosion... May have to remove the seat to get a good inspection, but that's a 5-minute job to remove the 4 fasteners from the sliders -to- the brackets...;)

Good Luck...;)

Nothing stuck in it - not grabbing the fasteners/sliders. It got messed up during blunt trauma to the seat from the rear seat area...Probably repeated blunt trauma over time...
