It is almost time to move to the dark side. Time to night crawl.

If anybody has some good setups for rock lights (pictures help me a lot) I would appreciate it. They have been suggested and I agree I should get them, just need to know where to mount them so they work best.

Thanks in advance.

wallmart has sets of small offroad lights for cheap and work great and if they go out just buy a new set

12 gauge or fatter wire I would guess. What kinds of switches and relays or fuses should I use? Walmart lights seem pretty popular and cheap.

Thanks for the input!

I got mine at Harbor Freight for $7 bucks a pair with wire and switches. I bought 2 packs and ended up only using 3 of the 4 lights. I mounted one to the back underside of the front bumper and two in the center of the tub just behind the rear axle. They work awesome and the only problem I've had is needing to spray off the lenses after mudding.

Those don't look like they would work for anything but a poser lowered truck. Helps if you can see the rocks!

So....when are you getting a business sponsorship here? I mean, since you are advertising. What company is it by the way, and what kinds of lights do you have?

this is a new endeavor for me so i'm still working on getting everything up on my website for everyone to see. the ones i have on my jeep are a prototype. how much is a sponsorship? i'll sponsor for sure once everything is all set up. hey Lance yellow is also a killer color and they are super bright. since you have a yellow jeep. my main business is cylinder head porting. but i saw a need for some trick rock lights for jeeps. they are called extreme rock lights and i aslo sell led whips for jeeps called extreme trail whips. i'll let everyone know when they're up on my site. i'd be happy to show anyone these lights in person. thanks guys.

Does that 27 yr cover light bulbs going out? I just installed the KC slims and I love using them.

Are they bulbs or filaments? I think it covers everything except cracked lenses, and abuse(smashed from rocks etc).

what do you have in mind? if i'm not mistaken k/c doesn't cover the bulbs burning out. i've changed mine out before and the glass lens on the front is part of the bulb

and I know they are not near $200 for 4 like yours. As for vibration, think about it, they are sealed beam TRACTOR lights, of course they are vibration proof. They have been on my Jeep for 2 years and have done all the trails as well as being underwater, BTW, are yours totalyy waterproof.... Mine are the 35W that trailgear carried before and were $7 each, my 4 cost $28......o, but I didn't get the pretty colors, mine are bright tho and work great and hold up VERY well

keep in mind that led's draw almost no amps so you can leave tham on all night with the jeep off and still have battery. these aren't for everyone it's more of a luxary rock light. i'm willing to help you guys out just let me know. now lets plan some night runs.
